Lucas paused for a bit and said: "Yeah, of course. I have heard of it, it's one of the greatest kingdoms, right?"
Kael grinned and said: "Yup, that's right. Then doesn't that mean you have also heard of me?"
Lucas looked at Kael, confused about what he was talking about. 'Could he be a famous swordsman?! Well, I mean he is an S-rank swordsman after all, that's the peak level of swordsmanship in my world, so of course they would be famous. But since I don't really belong to this world, of course I wouldn't know him, I hardly know anything about this world.'
"Uh, sorry… I have lived here my entire life and I am not really informed about how things are outside of here."
Kael frowned and said: "Oh, uh. It's alright. Then I will introduce myself once again. I am Kael Deryn, and I am a renowned swordsman from the Avaloria Kingdom. I came here because of a mission I have to fulfill. But I can't tell you that though."
Lucas didn't really know how he should react in a situation like this, he never really met any famous person back in his world. But, he does know that in a situation like this, especially meeting an honorable person such as Kael, is to mind your manners and greet him with respect. Well, pretty much like how it feels like when you are in front of a government official.
However, he didn't know how to do it.
Lucas just stared blankly at Kael; he looked like a statue.
Kael looked at Lucas as well: 'This guy, is he so shocked after knowing who I am, or he simply doesn't know how to respond in a situation like this?'
'Well, I guess if you are a commoner, you would barely know anything about mannerism.'
Kael sighed and said: "Well, since I have introduced myself. I will now be going, I still have somewhere to go after all."
Finally Lucas snapped out of it, and said: "Uh, alright then. I guess I will be going too… Sir Kael."
With that, Kael continued to walk and bid farewell to Lucas.
Lucas watched as he disappeared into the crowd.
'What a strange encounter…'
Yes, it truly was a strange encounter. Meeting a renowned swordsman like that and having a casual conversation was probably something Lucas shouldn't have done. At least, that's what he thought.
Kael was a pretty well-known man; people across the world have at least heard his name once. Kael wasn't just a renowned swordsman; he came from a noble family that is known for their amazing swordsmanship. Although people weren't really familiar with how he looked, that was why he didn't really overreact to how Lucas acted when he first met him.
'Man, I really should learn how to interact with others in a formal way. I wouldn't want to offend people of a higher class after all.'

Lucas continued to walk, looking around his surroundings and ignoring all the people staring at him. After wandering for a while, he finally saw Eldric. He was in front of Lucas, riding his Skyrak.
Lucas smiled and said: "Eldric! You are finally back."
Eldric looked at Lucas, surprised: "Oh, roaming around?"
"Yup, I felt tired after reading all those books and wanted some fresh air, so here I am."
"Let's go back; it's about to be night time soon."
"Alright."
Lucas and Eldric went back to the Library to get Lucas's Skyrak back, and headed back together.
