The thick burly shark man rips through the water with ease, his fins cutting through the dense ocean without a concern, flourishing into a spin in a near instant his burly arm locks around Rains neck locking him in place.
Rain's claws desperately rip and gouge into the Merfolks scales trying to free himself only to be sent flying into the ocean floor's sediment. His body is left stunned for a moment to recover.
"David is mainly the stealthy one of us but his plan seemed to fail with you. But I doubt you can survive my strength." Alexander chuckles, having full confidence in his strength.
Rain coughs up sediment and other debris trying to recover from the blow. Only to have the back of his skull gripped by thick scaled fingers and slammed into the ground.

'If I just had some damn mana left!' Rain's mind screams out in infuriation.
"Do you give up!?" Alexander slams Rain's skull into the seafloor again before picking it back up and waiting for a response.
"I REFUSE!" Rain coughs up in defiance despite the scales on his face being torn up and bright blood flowing out of the numerous cuts on his face.Alexander slams Rain skull back into the seafloor cutting and bruising it even further. His face continuing to be rubbed deep into the sediment.

Rain eyes glow a bright yellow as he continues to be tortured by the past during the brutal assault. Everyone easily stepped over him without any remorse for it to happen again.
"Do you give up!?" Alexander looks down at Rain noticing a stronger copper smell entering the open water.
"No!" Rain continues to burn with defiance.
Alexander goes to slam Rains skull into the sea floor once more only for his force to be stopped halfway. Rain just barely managed to stop it pressing his torn hands into the sea floor. The scales on the palms of his hand slowly start to shred and break.
In the instant Alexander's guard is dropped, Rain's instincts ring out to him guiding him. Kicking his feet up he manages to lock around the fish man's neck coiling his aquatic tail around his throat.
His yellow eyes grow fiercely as all the adrenaline in his body begins to sing in unison before his muscles tense up choking out Alexander without any remorse.
"You how…..Did you manage that...." Alexander chokes out gripping at Rain. Rain didn't know either; it was like a message sent deep into his body to react and slither out of death's grasp.
"This won't stop me dammit!"Alexander roars out starting grip tighter onto Rain to throw him off.
"It will!" Rain's body wraps tighter and tighter around the fAlexander, restricting his gills more and more.
"You little bastard!" Alexander tries to roar out as he slowly loses consciousness. His body losing strength and slowly crumpling to the seafloor.

"Rain I don't even know what to say. You are just something else." Serena says wth a bewilderment clear in her voice.
Rain starts to spit blood out into the water, clearing his nasal passageway and wiping the blood from his vision.
"That was too close but i did it." Rain comments to himself wiping the blood out of his eyes.
"Yes you did, you intrigue me creature." An unknown voice cuts deep into Rain's mind. The ocean waters go entirely black as time stops
"How is it that you managed to win a fight you were so outclassed in? You're still a fresh merman so how is it you can stand up to them." The voice continues to ring out through all of Rains mind.
"I refuse to lose everything again! That's why, I will survive this world and anything it wants to throw at me!" Rain roars out despite not knowing where the voice is.
"How peculiar, you're an interesting specimen. I'll make a deal with you creature." Slowly the waters around him start to grow eerily cold.
"What kind of deal?" Rain questions while keeping his guard up trying to keep himself calm.
"I don't want your soul, but I want your loyalty. These oceans are mine to control and there's a great disturbance deeper below. It's growing out of control and needs to be quelled" the voice continues to dominate Rain's mind booming through with the explanation.
"You have impressed me during my search for loyal candidates. So I seek to give you an offer of strength. You seem to be wanting more power to accomplish your goals, am I right?" The voice questions knowing Rain's deep desires.
"I am, I need to get stronger so i can protect myself and my people!" Rain says clenching his fist understanding full well what will happen if hes too weak in these waters.
"I can give you strength but you must heed my call when I need you." The voice says with a cold caress on Rain's cheek.
"Whatever you are, as long as you don't make me bring harm to innocents or my people i'll follow you." Rain signs pointing out his conditions before taking what power he can in these cruel waters.
"Deal." The voice lets out a satisfied chuckle.
"Welcome to the family of the deep my loyal fighter" A flash of a feminine face bubbles through his mind before vanishing just as fast.

In an instant Rain's heart starts to surge with energy as it becomes stronger a dark black energy starts to pour out of his heart. Making it twice the size providing more oxygen and blood flow. The new dark black energy starts to spread through all of rains veins. The blood on his hands slowly start to shift to a dark black red.
"Whats happening to me!?" Rain cries out in the black ocean void as his blood continues to burn.
Slowly his light blue scales start to deepen into a much darker Azure, becoming denser and more refined.

"Rain hello Rain you can't just go for a nap here what the hell." Serena says yelling in his ears to wake him up and continuing to shake him.
"I'm sorry. Can you please stop shaking me? I think my brain has had enough shaking today it's made great friends with the inside of my skull." Rain jokes finally waking up.
"You alright you kind of just blanked out after the fight just floating there. Is it just me or are you scales darker now?" Serena questions seeing the darker blue of Rains scales.
"Are they?" Rain says, still rubbing his eyes to wake himself out of the blur.
"They are. Weird they were a much lighter blue before. But are you alright though just having a nap in the middle of open water" Serena says, questioning Rain for his stupidity.
"You're right, they are darker. Sorry I didn't mean to, I just got really drowsy out of nowhere." Rain says trying to keep his encounter with that voice to himself for now.
