Aoi Tanaka wakes up alone, as usual. Her parents have been away for as long as she can remember, and she barely knows what they look like. In her isolated, strange house, everything is automated — food, cleaning, even messages from her parents. Aoi's mornings are a routine of eerie quietness. Today feels different, though. She finds a cryptic note on the breakfast table: "Don't trust the voices." Unsettled, she hurries to get ready for school. As she leaves, the house seems to hum with a strange energy, as if it's alive.
