ETERNAL SHADOWS ~~ CASTLE
Ava got to the gate and the guards opened the gate. She walked into the castle without saying a word.
She saw Gorya in the kitchen and as if Gorya noticed her. She stopped what she was doing to sped to her.
"Thanks for this!" Ava said handing her the dagger.
"It's yours!! Keep it!" Gorya said and Ava sighed.
"Thanks but I can keep it with me. This can injure Lucian and I don't want him to see it on me!" Ava said and Gorya took the knife from her.
"He won't!" Gorya said and stabbed her with the knife.
Her eyes widened and Gorya smiled as she pushed the knife into her stomach till it was completely in.
Ava held her breath expecting pain but she felt none. She looked at the wound and saw it closing up.
"Whenever you need it, just touch your belly and say, 'Mira!', the dagger will come out of your belly and you'll use it. Then you put it back when you're done!" Gorya said and Ava breath out.
"That's so weird! How did you know?!" Ava asked.
"A mystery!" She said and patted Ava's hair.
"Your life won't be easy Ava! I hope you'll be strong to overcome it!" She said and sped back to the kitchen.
Ava stared at her and sighed not having the energy to think about what she just said.
She just need rest or something to take her mind off the fact that her parents were responsible for Lucian's brother's death.
She sighed again and walked upstairs. She pushed open the door and met the room empty.
She looked at the terrace and saw Lucian standing by the rails backing her.
"You now know how cruel they are yeah?" He asked and she bit her lips.
"You kept saying my kind killed your brother, why didn't you tell me it was my parents?" She asked tears welling up in her eyes.
He stood straight and sped to her.
"If I told you, would you have believed?" He asked and she blinked.
"Why don't you kill me then? I know how hard it is for you to stay with a werewolf who's parents ended the lives of your brother!" She said.
"It's indeed hard. I will end you soon Ava! Be patient!" He said and she bit her lips.
"You plan on attacking them don't you?" She asked and he smirked.
"Don't harm my clan, Lucian!" She said and he was a bit surprised that she didn't call him hubby.
"Who said I'd harm them?!" He asked still having that small smirk playing on his lips.
"Even tho they deserve it, don't hurt them else you'd have me as your enemy!" She said and he leaned closer.
"What can you do?" He asked and she blinked.
"If you really want to find out, then try it!" She said and he smirked again.
"Can't wait to find out!" He said and stood straight.
He left the room.
A tear left her eye lid as she inhaled and exhaled.
"Were my parents right?!" She muttered and went to the restroom.
She stripped herself and stared at the wall having different thoughts running through her head.
She switched on the water and let it pour on her. Her parents wants to attack the vampire clan and the vampire clan wants to attack her parents clan.
The war is gonna be huge and she doesn't know who'd attack first.
She squatted to the floor hugging her legs to her chest as she buried her face on her thighs.
Tears escaped her eyes as she recalled Lucian's words.
"It's indeed hard. I will end you soon Ava! Be patient!"
'He keeps saying he'd kill you, aren't you supposed to get the hint already?' Her subconscious asked and she stood.
"Leave alone!" She muttered.
She took her bath and switched off the shower before drying her body. She put on a white robe and came out heading to the closet.
She brought out a black hoodie and a black short before putting it on.
She went to the bed and laid on it using the duvet to cover herself. She stared at the ceiling and sighed.
She sat up.
"They underestimate you too much!" A voice said and she blinked before looking at the door.
Gorya smiled and walked in closing the door.
"You sure you're ordinary?!" Ava asked.
"I just said your thoughts, nothing wrong there right?!" Gorya said and asked.
"I don't even know!" She muttered looking at her hands.
Gorya came and sat in front of her.
"They shouldn't underestimate you. You might actually make a difference you know!" Gorya said and Ava looked at her.
"A difference?! What do you mean?!"
"Let's go back to training!" Gorya changed the topic.
"You keep changing...."
"You wanna train or not?" Gorya asked and Ava sighed.
"Yes!" She said getting down from bed.
"We won't be training in the castle tho, I'll take you somewhere different!" Gorya said and Ava just stared at her.
Gorya brought out her palm and she placed her hand on it.
Gorya sped to the terrace with Ava and they jumped really high going over the gates.
They sped out of Garberville.
DEATH VALLEY ~~
Ava looked around the deserted area.
It was a desert.
The driest and hottest desert in California.
"This place is friggin hot!" Ava said taking off her hoodie.
She was putting on a singlet cropped shirt underneath the hoodie.
"What are we doing here?" Ava asked.
"To train! You'll have to master a lot of things if you wanna be strong enough.!"
"Okay! So what am I mastering fast?!"
"Survival skills!" Gorya said and stepped back from Ava.
Ava turned back and saw Gorya really far from her.
"The hell?" Ava muttered as she began sinking.
She tried pulling her legs but she still kept sinking.
"Hey!!!!!! Gorya!!!!!" She yelled as she tried to free herself but she kept going deeper.
The sand was in her stomach level by now.
"Gorya!!! Stop all this!!!!!" Ava yelled and Gorya just smiled.
Ava groaned as the sand reached her chest side.
"So I'mma die like this!" Ava muttered and the sand covered her completely.
CALIFORNIA ~~ UNKNOWN MANSION
"Any news on the werewolf?" The leader asked and one of them stood.
"Yes boss! She's working at a restaurant now! We attacked her but she ran away" A lady spoke.
"How stupid of her!" The leader said with a small smirk.
"We'll lay ambush on her. Y'all should go train well cos of she escapes from y'all, I will kill you myself!" The leader said.
"Yes boss!!!" Everyone said and they started going in.
"Wait!" The leader said referring to the lady who spoke.
"Yes boss?" Shs asked with an arched brow.
"I need you to do something for me!" He said and she raised a brow.
"What is it?" She asked and he smirked widely.
MERLIN'S RESTAURANT ~~
"Where's Ava?" Merlin asked Jason.
"I have no idea.!" Jason muttered.
Chloe looked at the two from the kitchen without uttering a word.
"Chloe, did she tell you anything?" Merlin asked looking at her.
"Nope! I hope she's okay tho!" Chloe said.
"Me too!" Merlin said.
Jason sighed missing Ava's presence already.
CAVE ~~
Lucian sat meditating on a rock.
Rina sped into the cave but he didn't move.
"I knew you'd be here!" Rina said but he didn't say anything.
"I saw her coming into Garberville this morning, did you know she left the house?!" Rina said and asked.
"She went to her clan!!" He muttered not opening his eyes.
"You let her go to the clan knowing she knows where we are?!!" Rina snapped.
"Yes!"
"How sure are you that she didn't tell her people where we are?!!!" She yelled.
"She wouldn't dare!" He said and she chuckled.
"What if they lay ambush on us again Lucian?" Rina asked.
He opened his eyes and stood facing her.
"We'll kill them all!" He said.
"Even Ava?" She asked with an arched brow.
"Even Ava!" He said and Rina smirked.
