Chapter 40 - Women's ego

Ryan followed behind Anna carrying the glasses, and the jug of juice.

"I was just in that line, but I decided on something else as soon as I..."

They were stopped by men who took the pots from them, and just carried them inside. Anna and Ryan stood facing each other under the window of one of the seven rooms on the second floor.

"Go on, Ryan." Anna encouraged with a cold gaze.

"I can give you a home, respect, money, children..."

"You're not the only man who can give me those things."

"That's within your power, yes. It's just me! My brother is packing his bags to spend a season here. Adam's brother will be arriving soon. We're four men, the only ones you'll have contact with. If you don't have someone to protect you... It'll be..."

 Anna raised an eyebrow.

 "I'll be..."

"You'll be sodomized by four men. It's tradition that the first time, as a baptism ritual, when a woman is to become a product, all the men in the family are present. Is that what you want? Because that's what's waiting for you. They're not packing for a social visit."

"Isn't your brother married? And why has Adam's brother decided that he's part of the family now?"

"My brother is married, yes. But this... need, we inherited from our mother's genes. His wife doesn't accept that he does this to her, but she has accepted that he makes constant visits to the...'product'."

 "And Adam's brother?"

"He was at the reading of the will, and was delighted at the possibility..."

"Are you saying that if I don't accept another offer, you'll use me like that too?"

Ryan took a step back, looking thoughtfully at her.

"I'd have no reason to deprive myself of that."

Anna felt her whole body throb with anger.

"And what would my alternative be?"

 "Leaving with me."

"I see. Better to be raped by one man than by four men, right?"

Ryan moved closer and put his hand on Anna's shoulder.

"If you're just mine, you won't think it's bad. You'll like it."

"I don't know how you can be so sure of that."

He smiled and his hand caressed her cheek.

"Anna... You were used to an old penis, not very vigorous, tired... I'm young. I'm twenty-two. I'm just starting out, practically..."

"Stop, please." Anna said and pulled away from his touch. "You don't measure up to the man All was. I can't believe that... He's unbeatable." Anna said, blushing violently as she remembered Adam's manhood against her body. She hadn't just seen it, she'd felt it, and now she regretted it.

"I didn't mean to offend my uncle, but you're just a young girl who recently left childhood. My uncle didn't have what it took to make you happy."

"And yet he did!" Anna said fiercely and turned to go inside, but Ryan held her firmly by the arm.

"Are you telling me you prefer the four men?" His voice sounded menacing.

"Until I get a better offer..."

"How do you feel about me?"

Anna knew she had to lie, but she also knew he would notice, so she turned her eyes back to the house and saw a tall figure behind the curtain of the upstairs bedroom window, watching them. She feared it might be Adam, as she knew he would take her back to the green house if she didn't tear Ryan's marriage proposal away.

 "It doesn't matter, Ryan."

The strength with which he held her arm increased and Anna felt pain.

"Let go of me, Ryan! You're hurting me!"

"This is nothing compared to what awaits you in the green house, I thought you should get a taste of what awaits you, but this isn't even the beginning!" He said and let her go, entering the house and leaving her there.

 ...

Ryan entered the office and noticed that Sarah, who he believed should be in the kitchen or sweeping the house, but understood that his cousin had a habit of letting his prostitutes think they were important, was leaning behind the armchair where Kate was sitting on Adam's legs, and Genevieve was watching the two of them, leaning against the window with an air of debauchery. That was the only woman of acceptable behavior his cousin had ever taken to bed. He poured himself a tequila and sat down facing Adam.

 "Get out!" He ordered.

Sarah still stared at him defiantly, but when she saw that Kate was leaving, she followed. Genevieve sat down next to Ryan.

"It was getting boring in here without you..." She said in a husky, sensual voice.

Ryan ignored her and looked at Adam, who had his usual cold stare.

"You're not... living up to our agreement, cousin!"

 "No?"

"Anna belongs in the green house! Why did you bring her here?"

"It's easier for both of us to woo her here. I don't like the green house."

"But that's where you'll have to pay her visits."

"Yes. Since she's going to spend the rest of her life there..."

"What happened between you? I've never seen you grant anything like this to anyone."

"I'm looking after my own comfort."

Ryan looked thoughtfully at the ceiling.

"She's acting strange. I'm not going to ask her to marry me if she doesn't confess her feelings. I... Ah! Adam. Let's stop playing this stupid game. I'll call the others, and we'll take her to the green house, and determine her future."

"Are you giving up? If you give up, you'll have to keep your end of the bargain."

"I want her all to myself, but I can't marry her. We know that's the only way to own her."

"Why don't you ask her to marry you, then?"

"Grandpa made a deal with the boss of Greece, and one of the agreements between them is my marriage to his daughter. I can't give him any more grief. Anna is not someone he would approve of, since he knows she was my uncle's bitch."
