This was it.
The end.
I was going to die, I was sure of it.
How i wished that I was back home, wrapped in my favorite, fluffy Yeti blanket, named after my favorite snow creature, while drinking a hot cup of mint tea while browsing trough Netflix.
Instead I was thousands of miles away from my cozy, warm home or any other warm place for that matter, laying half frozen, with a broken arm, a head wound and not to mention a brushed ego, hiding in a small, half open ice cavern which meant I had become the new human toy of the elements. The unexpected snowstorm that was ragging outside my hiding spot has been gaining more and more power over the last two hours or so, making the already low temperature drop even more low.
I could here my sister scolding me in my head. She was the more "grounded" of us two, the one that always did what was told, sweet and kindhearted but not into going out to see the world, exploring like I was.
I sighed deeply. Even though we did not always see eye to eye, my sister and me, I wished with all my heart that I could see her one more time to tell her that I loved her very much but alas here I am, trying hard to fight the blistering icy cold that had made its way inside my body and for what? A science project that was about to get closed because of lack of funding, because professor Snowball had met some shady people and made some deals with them ad is know owing them lots of money, money he was supposed to put into the science project but now used to safe his own skin…. anyways because of his stubborn foolishness I was now stuck here on a glacier about to die, giving my life for mere science, never to experience meaning of finding someones true love and of having a family of my own one day.
As reality really started to sink in, a lonely tear escaped, rolling down my numb cheek.
I wish it was going to be quick and painless because I hated pain and the pain in my arm was already really making me start to feel sick.
I closed my eyes, giving up the fight of staying awake. Slowly I felt myself drifting off into a deep, dark slumber. But just before the final light fades put into my eternal darkness i saw something strange appear in my slightly blurry vision, making me to wonder if already had died….
A pair of deep blue, sparkling eyes set in a face which did not look human, with white fluffy hair surrounding it. The eyes stared right back at me with such an intensity that it made me tremble. and then he mumbled a word….
One word that would change everything!
