Bai Meiyue stood in front of the small crowd with a blank expression. The current Chen Yuya was really different than the Chen Yuya of the apocalyptic world.

But becoming the leader of the fighting and search team also came with many disadvantages. Firstly, she had to leave with the team for weeks, and secondly, she could not take Bai Cai with her.
Back then she was simply infatuated with Su Hu to the point that she wouldn't dare say east if he said west. So when he promised her that he was going to take care of Bai Cai, she believed him. After all, Su Hu told her that even if Bai Cai was the son of another man, he treated him like his own.
He told sweet lies to her and cajoled her into believing him.
Thus, Bai Meiyue left her son with Su Hu. Three and four times, nothing happened. Bai Cai remained safe and sound under Su Hu's care, and Bai Meiyue lowered her guard.
