Walking through the stone paved street , Jack and Aiko were like tourists , gawking at every little thing they encountered. Everything from the fruits , vegetables and even the meat sold was different from what was the norm on earth. While Jack was mesmerized by the view and design of the place while Aiko was overtaken by nostalgia.
Aiko started recalling how she'd frequent this market , though it had changed a lot , and get the evening groceries. She'd at times become a spendthrift and break the budget which would only make her old mother cranky.
"Bossman , Aiko wants to be treated to a lot of everything," she turned to him with eager eyes.
"Aiko , you can't eat everything here," Jack laughed as Aiko dug into the coin pouch he'd been given by the beast folk and took out a chunk of gold coins.
She paused for a moment , letting the bright dazzle of the coins shimmer in her greedy eyes.
