Footsteps could be heard nearby.
Shiebe turned around to see if there was anyone following them but couldn't see anything.
Purono continued to head towards the village not realising that Shiebe had stopped.
"Hey you think were being followed?"
"This place is a barren wasteland. There's no grass or trees for anyone to hide, Your just imagining it."
This reply didn't suit him though.
He knew that something was out there but he knew that Purono had a point there was no where for anyone to hide so he continued to head towards the village.
The area around the village was filled with dead cattle.
The village itself was not very big from the amount of houses that could be seen about 80 people lived there in total. They were now face to face with the barrier of the village. A man from the village started to approach them. The first thing Shiebe had noticed about the man was his torned clothes as if he was homeless. There were also bruises and cuts all over his face. His eyes looked dead inside.
The man took a quick glance at the two of them before turning around.
"The human can come in but the creature leaves."
Shiebe was taken back from this he hadn't expected the possibility that they would reject Purono since he wasn't human since the world had many different races.
"Excuse me sir if you don't mind me asking why is he not allowed to enter."
Others started to emerge from their houses to see what the noise was. The village was dead quiet apart from the voices of the two.
Whispers arose from the villagers as the man had spoken again. This time his eyes were full of hatred and disgust. He grit his teeth and clenched his fist
" Look at me they attacked me simply because I am human. These Non-Humans must all be put to death; goblins, dragons, orcs or whatever if your not human then die if you can't follow our rules then leave boy."
"Non-Humans! What the hell are you talking about!"
An image of Zaneff and Maz had come to his head when he heard the man disrespecting the other races like that.
Slowly and slowly Shiebe was getting more agitated. The man and Purono had quickly realised this by the immense spike in his aura. It was starting to leak out of his body. Sparks of red and black emerged all over his body. Then the man had pulled out a sword and pointed at him.
"You little shit! The hell do you think you're doing using your syreum. If you intend to harm anyone in this village I will kill you ."
"Go ahead and try. Lets see how far you can go with that busted up body of yours."
"Enough! Both of you stand down"
A powerful shout from Purono echoed throughout the village.
The aura from emitting from Shiebe started to die down.
The man turns around before telling Shiebe and Purono to leave the village.
Shiebe quickly turned away from the village with Purono following him.
They were back at the edge of the cliff looking over the destroyed forest.
"What was that all about Shiebe. It's not like you to get violent like that!"
Shiebe sat down on the ground continuing to look at the scenery in front of them.
"I have friends who aren't human. Two of them. They are dear to me and I won't allow any disrespect to them. Same with you It's not right to reject someone simply because of their race."
"Its begun the war between the races"
"The last sign. That means any day from now they will appear. "
Purono nodded
"We have no more than 2 days before they come. We need to inform the Kingdom about this."
"Yeah your right. It seems like we have no choice"
Shiebe stood up and looked at the rift. It was huge and seemed like it would explode at any time.
The two of them headed east towards the Kingdom. Shiebe still felt uneasy about going but he knew that he had no choice but to go. They kept on moving until Shiebe had felt that same presence that he felt earlier much more closer. It moved closer and closer until...
*SWOOSH*
A large amount of fire balls came flying their way. Shiebe grabbed Purono and swiftly dodged the attacks. Once the fire ball landed at the ground they circled around until it formed a tornado of flames . Inside the flames a person could be seen. Shiebe pointed his arm towards the flame and started to charge up.
The person inside the flame did not wait for Shiebe to unleash his attack. They charged at Shiebe at great speed and punched him in the stomach causing him to fall onto his knees.
The person was now hovering over him.
Long black hair, green eyes hidden behind glasses and fully clothed in black. It didn't take him long to realise that the person was a women older than him.
The woman grabbed Shiebe's hair and looked him in the eye.
"Purple and red. Red hair. Human. Around 10 years of age."
She then grabbed Shiebe's neck and tightened her grip on it which had led to Shiebe passing out.
Once passed out she lifted up Shiebe and carried him on her back and head on the same path that they were going on but before she could move a voice from below shouted out to her.
"The hell do you think your doing, drop him at once"
The woman looked at the creature in confusion and carried on walking despite his demand.
"I'm not going to hurt him. I'm just placing him under arrest."
"Under arrest. For what"
"Shiebe Zacakria. Age 10. Syreum mastery C+. Reason for arrest: Disobeying the King's order."
"What! Is this why he didn't want to go to the Kingdom." Purono thought to himself
"You're free to come along. However I must warn you that your friend here might as well be dead. The King has sent a lot of people to come after him which has caused conflict within the Zackaria family but no matter how powerful they are royalty rules over all. That's just how it works out here. Even with all the strange things that have been going on around the world the Kingdom is still going strong. "
"What's going to happen after we get there."
"I will throw him into prison and a day later a trail will be held and the sentence for him will be decide and carried out the very same day. It most likely going to be death"
The moment he heard this Purono attacked the woman from behind causing her to drop Shiebe on the ground.
The woman looked at Purono to see that something was changing about him smoke started to emerge from his body until it completely covered him.
He got bigger and bigger but it was just his size that was changing but his appearance as well
"I haven't had to use this form in a while." he said still hiding in the smoke.
The woman rushed towards him with her fist covered in flames.
But he vanished.
"What the. The hell did he g-"
A kick from behind. The woman quickly got back up to find herself face to face with a human.
"Y-Your human?"
"Who knows. That isn't important right now. I'm not going to let you throw him into prison."
