Chapter 37 - Jane Emereen(2)

Anonymous: "Oh, Leen is back!"

Anonymous: "Ahahaha, he's not Leen this time. She's Jane!"

Anonymous: "Damn, Woman!?"

Anonymous: "Hmm... It feels good for a reason."

Comment after comment flows in Jane's streaming comment log.

Leen Brawn: "In order to maintain a harmonious relationship with the NPCs, I'll be speaking in writing from now on."

After adjusting her streaming settings to suit her comfort, Jane sighed.

She was really unfamiliar with the differences between DOL and other games.

While Jane was focused on the Streaming screen, Seearial had returned to Jane's bed. She now eating berries and snacks.

Jane glanced at Seearial for a moment before examining the pile of documents in front of her.

All of those documents mostly just contain trivial things such as this year's birth data, records of the activities of the Elf troops, and so on.

Despite Jane's efforts, it seems that she still won't be entrusted with the documentation and management of very important matters in the near future.

Jane spent some time checking these documents for a while while chatting with her audience before standing up.

She looked at Seearial.

"Seearial, let's go!"

Seearial was lying down at that moment.

However, when she heard Jane's invitation, she immediately jumped up and flew towards Jane quickly.

"Okay!"

Jane's plan was to head to the royal archery and magic training arena.

Of course, before that she had to change clothes and get out of the way of this heavy and tight dress of her elf princess.

She set the camera direction in the other direction and began to take off and change clothes.

The streaming screen only shows the cute figure of Searial, but for some reason the audience becomes excited...

It didn't take long for Jane to change her clothes.

Dressed in light clothes and a bow, Jane called the maid who was on guard near her room to escort her to the training arena.

Since Jane's plan this time was not to hunt, Jane didn't need Alyvard's existence.

In fact, since the previous kidnapping incident, Alyvard had become rare to see Jane.

According to what Seearial reported, since the kidnapping incident, Alyvard has only come to see Jane twice.

It seemed like he was busy with something and Jane guessed that it was very much related to Jane's true identity. Unfortunately, she still lacked the information and power to interfere with this matter for now.

Jane had sown the seeds of early conflict.

The first step to gain more power within the palace had also begun.

All that's left is to continue to develop and become stronger while she waits for the right time to make a move.

"Young Miss, Princess Jane, you shouldn't secretly run away again to hunt alone, okay?" said the maid to Jane, looking tired.

Jane smiled bitterly.

"Has such an incident ever happened?"

The maid didn't answer and just looked at Jane with a sharp gaze.

Jane could only step back and laugh in response.

Trying as hard as she could to ignore the judgmental gaze the maid directed at her, Jane walked into the middle of the vast archery practice arena.

This training arena was actually built for the sake of the training ground for the Elf troops and it is still like that even now. However, now, its use has been slightly expanded and some elven nobles are also even allowed to use it as long as they receive permission from the Elf King or Queen.

Jane, as an elven princess, was naturally allowed to use this training arena.

In this vast flat field, Jane could see different types of archery targets in the distance. Some of the targets are made of straw, while others are made of wood, iron, and materials that Jane doesn't know but look very sturdy.

There is even a setting to make these targets move in order to increase the difficulty of aiming at them.

Jane manages to make her target a target made of Iron and can dodge.

Suddenly, the iron target in the distance began to glow dimly and emit smoke.

The target that was originally only in the form of a block turned into a skinny and agile-looking Humanoid Golem.

"Ohh... Impressive."

As expected of elven technology, Jane thought, impressed.

{Do I have to help too, Your holiness?} Seearial asked.

Jane smiled and shook her head.

There's no need, I'll be practicing my archery skills this time, so strength enhancement and correction aren't necessary.

Seearial nodded and moved away hearing Jane's response.

{Alright, then, good luck, Your holiness!}

Jane sets the angle of the camera to capture the target image as well before starting to pull the bowstring.

Jane took a deep breath and calmed herself down.

Slowly, her eyes began to shine...

***

The sound of broken glass echoed in a dark alley.

The sound was accompanied by the sound of girl crying.

Every time the girl screamed, the laughter that sounded disturbing and would make anyone who heard it uncomfortable burst.

Drop by drop a thick dark red liquid fell from the shattered liquor bottle.

The liquid was too dark for blood, but it also looked strange to be referred to as wine.

From the shattered glass bottle, the liquid flowed and fell into the throat of a girl's corpse whose body had been bent into a strange shape, looking like a five-cornered star formed from flesh and bones smeared with a smelly sticky white liquid.

An elven man with silver hair was the one holding the bottle.

A cruel smile adorned his handsome face without a gap seeing the body of the girl in front of him start twitching wildly. The screams that came out of the girl's lips were a heavenly song to this man.

While he was having fun, the man heard hurried footsteps from the other side of the alley.

"Why are you delaying my fun time?"

The elven man threw that question to a black-robed man who had just arrived.

The robed man struggled to control his breath before answering.

Hearing the report from the robed man, the elven man widened his eyes for a moment, looking shocked.

However, shortly after, he regained his composure.

Not only that, his eyes narrowed with cunning.

A smile grew on his face.

"The Elven princess blessed by the Goddess, Jane Emereen..."

For some unknown reason, the elven man started laughing.
