When i was 8 my older brother came to me and ask me to go to a nearby river, he wanted to play there and catch some fish to bring Home, it was all an innocent Game from a kid who didnt know any better, i didnt wanted to go but he insisted to much so i end up going with him, we play and play in the shore until almost evening, i remember as clear as day, he saw a little fish and start chasing him into the river, i scream at him to come back and even run behind, he end up steping in a fake hole and started Sinking and being Dragged by The Current of The river, that was more violent and Stronger in the Center, i panicked and quickly grab his arm, the water started to enter my body as we both Drowned, I tried to drag him away from The Center with all My strength but that wasnt enough, My grip slip and he finally was eat by The river

We found him 3 days later

His Death still haunts me to This day, his body was Inflated and red, alone, between Branches and moss, His eyes were glassy and his hair covered almost all his face

We buried him a day later, almost Half The Town Attended, i don't remember much, My memories of that day are bluried to this day after all

My parents never once make me guilty, they told me multiple times that what happen wasnt My fault, that they understood my lack of strength and they didnt blame me for not saying My brother

I cannot put My own eyes out of that thing, As if it were calling me , i Stumble with My own Feet and fell in the pavement, all This happen in 7 Seconds, after that, a ring formed around the ball and everything went white, for a single Second i felt like i was floating in a empty space, and after that My body Impact in the street, i puke seconds later, as i looked around nothing had changed but something felt off, cries of nearby children alert My senses and after recover all of them I put Myself up, looking around make me realize the state i was in, in mere 7 Seconds The whole city was Done a mess, i start walking to The NJIT thinking about it, i was Extremely confuse until i remember and check My phone

My parents became one of The víctims of The "Black Sun" as The media called The thing that appear that day, a Lot of things happen but The most important was that Half of The Human population dissapear, not only that, all living beings That were not plants or fungus did to,and i meant it, all of them, Even mosquitoes, The environment started to slowly decay as The chain broke, but so our Society did to, more than 4 billion Died or dissapear that day, it was obvious that The Aggravated conflicts between nations started to burst, Africa became a hell Hole between dictators trying to expand there own Territory, China lauch a operation against Taiwan, Iran declared war against Israel and USA condemn all of This, people started to fear The worst, another World war was about to burst, Russia started to being more and more agressive against Ukraine and the Nato did The same, when everyone was sure The World was ending something happen, The first Mist appear in The coast of Florida

There is no way to put it simple, a thick mist cover all of The coast, after a few days they appear
