Julian emerged from shadows, eyes blazing with malevolent intensity. The air thickened, heavy with foreboding.
"Your curiosity seals your fate, Ethan. You shouldn't have dragged them into this. It was only meant for you. Now, Your friends will go down with you." Julian declared, voice dripping with malice. "Nimrod's power will consume everything."
Ethan, Lena and Alex stood firm, united against darkness.
"We won't let you unleash that horror," Ethan vowed.
Julian sneered. "You're no match for Nimrod's might. You have no power to control the darkness I have brought upon the world. Your planet will be mine ".
Runes on the courtyard walls pulsed brighter, casting eerie glow. The trio felt an ancient energy stirring.
Lena whispered, "The symbol's power is growing. We can't do anything about it".
Alex nodded. "We need to disrupt it, we need to stop it from growing else we are all doomed ", fear creeping into him.
Ethan charged forward moving towards Julian, but Julian vanished, reappearing behind them.
"It's t oo late Ethan, you have unleashed the symbols wrath on the world" Julian gloated. "Nimrod awakens with it's tremendous power".
The ground trembled. Ancient structures crumbled. Darkness coalesced into tendrils, ensnaring the trio.
"You can't escape it's wrath. The Eternal night descends, and no one can stop it" Julian declared.
Suddenly, a blinding flash engulfed the courtyard. Ethan, Lena and Alex stumbled, blinded.
When vision returned, they stood within an endless, dark expanse. Stars flickered like dying embers.
"Nimrod's realm" Ethan whispered.
" It can't be ", Lena responded.
" It is. There's no better explanation for this ", Ethan added.
" We're doomed ". Alex blurted.
Julian's laughter echoed through eternity.
" Indeed you are ", Julian added.
Ethan, Lena and Alex stared at each other in fear of what lay ahead. They didn't know what to expect as they were surrounded by magic and they could not run from it . They were doomed to death.
In fear, they fled through the endless darkness, in hope of finding an exit, while, Julian's malevolent laughter echoed, closing in on them.
Ethan's mind went blank.
