Elion made his way into the office. His sharp, tailored suit fit him perfectly, and his presence turned heads and earned nods from the employees. He acknowledged them with a faint nod but didn't slow his pace. The elevator dinged softly as it opened onto the top floor, where his private office occupied an entire wing of the building.
Outside his office, Kade was seated at his desk, typing something on his laptop. Kade glanced up at the sound of Elion's steps and stood quickly, wearing his usual polite smile.
"Good afternoon, sir," Kade greeted, falling into step behind Elion as he walked into his office with a folder on his hand.
With a quick nod, Elion kept his usual poker face, but the small wrinkle in his brow said he had something on his mind
Once inside, Kade shut the door behind them and quickly flipped the folder open as he followed Elion to his desk.
