His eyes widen to the sight and terror washes over his beings as he starts to sweat a lot as the man making his way to him. He knows it sounds unlogical to any rational explanation.
'Zombie? That's... A zombie? No way...' he starts to stand and without thinking any much further he ran away from the man through the hospital walkway.
"Zombie! Run!" He shouts to other people who was around the area.
Many were shocked to his shouting. Many didn't even care and some just think of him out of his mind until the zombie jumps on a woman and take a bite to her arm. They both struggling to each others while some relative to the woman try to separate the man but instead they got bitten as well.
As that happened, it's turn the Waiting lobby of the hospital a total chaos. Ise turns back a bit to see that the zombie no longer chasing him since it get other people who still around there.
Many people scattered around at this point, some running in the emergency ward, some heading to their cars and some just running somewhere away since there are a few more of the zombies come from the Plague Room area who was attracted from the chaotic situation there.
Ise was at his bike and was trying to unlock the tire lock he had at the bike until he remembered something.
"Oh my god... What am I supposed to do? Hiro was still in there..." He looks around to reassess the situation of his surrounding.
He think for moment since there is no zombie who actually heading to him since people around the lobby still loud. This give him chance to think.
"I'm not familiar with the hospital layout but... There is a map around the lobby... I... Can try but I don't think lift will be a great help..."
He recall the ward and the bed number where Hiro were placed but he can't make the floor? It's either floor 2 or 3. He takes a few seconds to think and then just run to the nearby emergency staircase. Lucky him that at the stair have emergency route plan and he can pretty much see which floor did Hiro was in.
He quickly confirms that Hiro was in 3rd floor as he quickly climbs to the stair to the ward.
At the same time, in Poppy Ward.
Hiro was standing by the window beside his bed. His arm were all bandaged and he was in hospital clothes. To the accident that happened yesterday, he just had fractured left arm bones, some bruise around his hips and legs. He passed out due to hard impact his his brain that bring him out almost immediately after the crash.
But, he just kinda alright at the moment since there is no fatal damage at all.
As he look down, he saw the commotion that's going down there. People running around and some attacking other's and all. He can't really make up the situation too much since it wasn't that clear from this height to see what actually happening down there.
He's about to let the thoughts of this slide until he heard someone open the ward door harshly and slammed it shut.
"Everyone! There is zombies attacking us!!" Shouts a woman.
"Zombie? What are you talking about?" Respond a man who was a patient in that ward.
"Like... In the movie. That man eating humanoid that spreading through bites and all. It's real zombie!" She explained and her voice was in terror.
As almost everyone in this ward heard what said by that woman. They all starts to talk to each others. Some already scared from hearing that alone while Hiro starts to get more curious.
"What I saw earlier was kinda make sense of what that woman was talking about... Hmm... Zombie? But she doesn't seems to be lying and people down there..." His mouths shuts at the moment when there is loud bang sound at the door.
Everyone were shocked and kinda affected to the woman's words. The loud bang at the door making them more convinced. The woman step back and the door opened.
"Uh... Is this... Poppy ward?" Ise step in while rubbing his forehead.
Yeah, he was kinda in hurry and slammed his head to the door because he expected the door to open but since the woman stands at the door before... It's not.
"Yes... It is.." answer a nurse.
"Yes? Great!" He immediately shut the door close and locked it.
"What happened out there?" Ask the nurse again.
"Zombie. There is some people infected with something? I don't know. But it's true. Like in the movie."
Almost everyone gasp in shock to his words. He seems to clarified everything so he walks up to the bed where his friend supposed to be at.
"Ise?" Hiro said as he heard the voice familiar to him.
"Oh! Hiro!" He runs up and stop by the bed.
"So, you are Ise? Nice to meet you in person. I am Hiro Hayabusa. Your Messenger friend."
Ise nodded and make a handshake with him. They both sit there and talk to each other as Ise filled the details about what happening down there.
