Romano's POV
"One job! Just one job!" I yelled, tugging at Dimitri's shirt.
"Sorry Sir. She sent me out to go get her few things for school and before I came back, she was gone." Dimitri said, his voice shaky.
"Always fucking up!!!" I yelled, throwing him on the ground. "You're all stupid!"
I dailed her number again but it was not available. I screamed, throwing the phone on the wall. "Get me the cyber team, Now!"
"Yes Master" He nodded, before scurrying away.
"Fuck!!!!" I groaned, holding my head.
"We heard what happened?" Danté said, bursting into my living room.
"Have you tracked her? Don't you think it's high time you insert a tracking device in her body?" Luca suggested.
"Well, that's not the fucking issue right now." I hissed dragging my hand around my face frustratedly. "You! Get the strongest drink in that shelve"
The guard quickly ran to get the drink as instructed. Danté and Luca were both on their phones taking and making calls. I kept gritting my teeth impatiently.
"Pour it" I directed the guard. After he poured it, I snatched it and chugged it down my throat, groaning. "Leave it" I waved him off, refilling my cup myself.
"Easy man." Danté glared at me.
"Don't" I raised my finger at him warningly. If he wasn't going to spew out a good news or some sort of solution then I don't want to hear him say any shit
"Well, you're not going to just get drunk instead of looking for her" Luca fired at me.
They were all correct but I had to cope somehow and this was the only way to cope and stay sane.
"Sir, the cyber team got nothing and the surveillance team lost track of her. However, her car was found on Fountain Street." Dimitri informed me.
"Get me something more interesting!!!" I yelled back at him. "Get her car and scan the shit for fingerprints. Get me a lead."
"How about the Italians. They've been the ones that have been onto her for ages" Luca said.
"True" I nodded, thinking hard on what to do and how to go about it. "I can't just storm in there without proper evidence. I need to be sure she's there before barging in there. We don't want to start up an unending war"
"Hmm! We'll find something then and get back to you" Luca said stepping out with Danté behind him.
I can't admit it to them but I really don't know what I'll do sometimes without them. At least in moments like this when anger and frustration clouds my thinking faculty.
I don't know how but I managed to down the whole bottle but I did and even ordered for another strong one. Taking the bottle, I stumbled to my room.
The sound of the door creaked but i didn't bother to open my eyes as I felt like I was hallucinating and it wasn't real. The only person permitted to enter my room was Jadelyn and Zion.
Speaking of Zion, where's that little guy?
"Hi Baby" A sultry feminine voice whispered in my ear, her hand placed on my chest.
Jadelyn?
My eyes were too heavy, I couldn't open them. "Hey Peach" I whispered, smirking. "I knew you'd come"
The voice sounded cheerful as she said. "You did? I knew you still have it in there for me"
"Of course I do" In nanosecond, she was on top of me and her lips were all over my neck, trailing down kisses.
Unlike me, I wasn't really feeling her touch. Why? I usually felt too aroused whenever she touched me. Maybe because I've not stared at her pretty face yet.
She rocked her hips into me, making me smile. I wrapped my hands around her waist. "You seem to have added." I chuckled
She tensed under my touch. "How, baby?"
"You feel fleshy." I felt her up and down. "But I know you're still sexy"
"Really?" She whispered, taking my earlobe into her mouth, sucking it gently.
"That's new. When did you become a seductress?" I chuckled again, shaking my head.
"Open your eyes and look at me baby" She said softly, unbuttoning my shirt
I slowly opened my eyes. I blinked over and over again, not wanting to believe my eyes. "Jadelyn? It's you"
She clutched my shirt all of a sudden, making me raise my eyebrow at her confusion.
"Jadelyn? Is that what you've been thinking all these while?" She yelled at me.
"What?"
"Jadelyn is gone! She's no more here. Fuck!" She pushed my chest harshly.
"Madelyn?"
"Hell, yes!" Madelyn said rudely. "That little brat is so into your head that you now see her in everybody? You better get used to living without her"
"Do you have a problem with her?" I smirked.
"I have every problem with her!" She jumped off me, pacing back and forth
"Why? You're jealous of her?"
"God damn it! She's the one that's jealous of me. She has always been and it's been so annoying. She's trying to be like me so hard that she's successfully stealing everyone from me!" Madelyn said, her chest heaving up and down.
"What if it's the other way round?" I sat up, taking her by her hand and pulling her close to me.
"It can't be" She shook her head.
"How about you stop trying to compete with Jadelyn and just be yourself" I held her two legs, pulling her into my body. Exactly on my thigh.
"Would you take me back, if I do that?" She asked softly.
I smiled. "You're a beautiful girl, you know right?"
"That doesn't answer my question." She groaned, wrapping her hands around my neck.
"You don't need to seek validation from others. Just be you" I pecked her forehead before bringing her hands down from my neck.
"That still doesn't answer my question, Romano!" She hissed.
"Madelyn, my heart -" I started but the sound of the telephone cut me off. I looked at it skeptically before placing her on the bed and walking up to it
"Complete your statement, Romano" Madelyn said eagerly.
"Excuse me" I raised a finger at her before picking up the phone.
"It's Danté"
"Speak" I sighed, bracing myself up.
"Sorry but..." I was barely paying attention to the rest of the sentence as my heart got frozen.
