Chapter 101 - Chapter 101- My own way

"Come on!!!" Fiona groaned out loudly.

"What do you want me to say to you?" I rolled my eyes, folding my hands.

"What did you say to him?" Fiona was really pestering me about my response to Romano's proposal.

"I thought that news would've been everywhere. Bad news travel faster" I shrugged.

"Except maybe this one wasn't a bad news? Right?" Fiona raised her eyebrow at me.

I laughed, watching as Romano walked inside through the door. "Is she still disturbing you? I can tell her to go if you don't want to talk about it"

I beckoned on him to come, which he did. I wrapped my arms around his hot body, inhaling his scent.

"Yes!!!!" Fiona pumped her fist in the air

"Excuse me?" Romano stepped aside from my view, sitting close to me as he pulled me into him.

"You said yes!" Fiona smiled brightly.

"I did?" I looked at Romano who shared the same weird look with me.

"You both should just end it. You're fucking wearing the ring!" Fiona pointed at my finger

Fuck me

"You blew it" Romano whispered.

"I got it recently from ... From online!" I answered, nudging Romano with my knee to play along.

"Lies! Romano also has a similar ring on" She wiggled her eyebrow at Romano.

"Urghh!!" I groaned before bursting into laughter.

"It was still a good one" Romano patted my shoulder softly. I nodded, agreeing with him.

"You both are just something else, you know that?" Fiona glared at us.

"Aw! Don't be mad. I just wanted you to have the same heartache Romano did" I laughed.

"I tell you, she's evil" Romano frowned. I think he suddenly remembered that day he got on his knee.

"Tell me!" Fiona's lips turned up into a smile.

"I really thought she was going to say no and run away because she kept taking a step back." Romano scoffed. "Only for she to get to the door and run back to me, crashing us to the ground"

"Holy shit!" Fiona snickered.

"Where's the fun in just saying yes to someone who confessed his love" I shrugged.

"Wait. Romano said he loves you?" Fiona yelled.

"Shhhh" Romano and I said simultaneously.

"It's a big thing, guys! Don't shush me" Fiona squealed. "I'm so damn happy"

"What's happening?" A voice said, interrupting us

"Love!" Fiona said without thinking.

"Hi Caleb" I waved at Caleb who just walked in with Zion. Zion looked more active and happy than before.

"Hi Sister. Hey Twin" Caleb greeted.

"Hey Face Thief" Romano growled. They were not yet fond of each other but they were trying

"I travel for a week only to come back to hear about their engagement. Can you believe that?" Fiona told Caleb who looked shocked and impressed.

"Dons get married?" Caleb raised his eyebrow at us. Fiona excused herself to go take a call.

"I guess you'll find out" Romano shrugged. I poked his ribs. He was still somewhat mean to his brother and I didn't like it much. Caleb on the other hand didn't look like he cared much about how his twin saw him.

Very easy going man, I tell you.

"Come here, Zee" I beckoned on Zion who quickly ran to my body, wrapping his little hands around me.

"Daddy said I was going to be a big brother soon" He smiled up at me. "Is that true, Auntie Jay?"

"Auntie Jay? That's my new name?" I raised my eyebrow at him.

"You already have a baby so I can't call you mummy" He said sadly.

I really felt bad for him at that moment

"Nonsense! Who said I can't have multiple babies from different part of the world" I tickled him, watching him laugh as he tried to push my hands away from him.

"Okay fine! I'll call you mummy Jay, okay?" He yelled, his eyes teary from the mini torture

"Can I hear it now?" I raised my eyebrow at him

"Mummy Jay?" He said sweetly.

"Aw, come here!" I pulled him into my body, cuddling him like my life depended on it

He didn't deserve everything he went through and so I just feel for him and the least I can do was be a mother.

"When do you move back?" Romano asked Caleb, who was just looking at Zion and I with adoration.

"Never. You're stuck with me" Caleb smirked at Romano. Romano scoffed, a hint of smile on his face.

"Let's catch up this weekend. Just you and I" Romano said. I wanted to shout 'yes' but I didn't want him to change his mind and so I kept a neutral expression.

"Someone called for mum?" I heard Rosetta's voice even before she showed herself.

"Grandma!" Zion broke free from my arms and ran into Rosetta's arms. She kissed him all over his face.

"Mother" Romano stood up, a bit reluctant to give her a hug. She stood there watching him. The next thing she did made me laugh. "Ouch! I'm sorry, I'll do it properly"

Rosetta squeezed Romano's ears, scolding him on how disrespectful it was to stand afar, greeting his mother. Also, she specifically said she didn't give two flying fucks if he was a Don.

"You owe daddy $1 dollar" Zion giggled. "You swore"

"Uncle Romano will pay" Rosetta chuckled. "Now..."

"Hi mother" Romano engulfed her in a hug, almost suffocating her.

"I'm indestructible. Just so you know" Rosetta said, her breathing the opposite of her words because she was at the verge of passing out.

"Hi mother" I went in to hug her. She peppered my face with kisses, making me giggle like a child.

"I need to head out. I have something to quickly attend to." Romano said, pecking my lips quickly.

"Zion and I need to go to the Cinema. We'll come back to pick mum" Caleb said, pecking my forehead before going to his mother for a quick hug.

Romano glared at Caleb for kissing my forehead. Caleb, on the other hand ignored the glare. It was funny to watch.

"Bye!" I said to the three of them, blowing Zion a kiss.

"Where's Fiona?" Mother asked, looking around.

"I'm here!" Fiona announced her presence.

"Beautiful" I smiled at the both of them before my face turned serious. "Please sit"

"What's going on?" They both shared some confused look between themselves.

"Now that he's gone, there's so nothing important I need to discuss with you two about" I sighed, looking down at my palm nervously. "You have to promise to stand by me on this one"

I'm sorry, Romano. I just have to do things my way, for once.
