As the Chaos runes inscribed themselves on Chase's body, he felt pain. It wasn't awful pain, it was like a tattoo getting type of pain. What really hurt was the magic power transforming his heart into a magic organ. He screamed in pain and passed out as chaos transformed his heart, and his blood in turn, runes of darkness changing his very blood cells and veins into magical pathways, his mind learning all the 1st level spells of Chaos, as when he awakens, he'll be a Beginner Chaos Sorcerer.
Three hours later, he woke up, with a headache he went to get some water, and in the mirror, he saw his new appearance, and his eyes glowed with the URUZ rune or Bull, showing his tenacity and potential as a Chaos Mage within this Ordered universe. It faded, and he looked through his spells, and learned that he could mask them as Order spells, as he knew Chaos was considered an existence repelled by it.
There were three tiers of Chaos Runes, Livestock to Joy, Hail to Sun, and Tyr to Dawn. Every 4 Runes Chase added to his his body, his power would increase, and his stage as a Chaos Dark Rune Chaos Mage would increase. Four runes represented the Beginning Stage of Chaos. Then it went Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, Perfected, Conceptual, and Peak Sorcerer. Conceptual Sorcerers were able to reify the runes they channel for spells, showing off the true power of the runic spells. Peak sorcerers, are only legendary existences that could rewrite the universal laws themselves.
