William gestured towards a nearby bench, and they both sat down. He knew some things about Lucy, but now that she was his disciple, he felt it was important to learn more.

"And how are you going to tell your parents?" William inquired, a hint of concern in his voice. "Aren't they going to be upset if you leave?"
Lucy's smile widened. "They already know I'm planning to leave to learn more about magic," she explained, "so it won't be that hard, I think. But you'll have to meet them, you know, so they can see you're a good person."
