As she stirred awake, her eyes met mine, and I felt my chest tighten. There was no one else in the world who could make me feel like this—like everything was possible. I kissed her forehead gently and smiled when she looked at me, confused.
"You're staring again," she said softly, her voice still heavy with sleep.
"Can you blame me?" I asked, my fingers brushing over her cheek. "You're too beautiful not to stare at."
