The wind hollows from the gaping pit below. The darkness shrouding over it to no end makes it impossible for them to see below. Tailing his eyes up from the pit to the old wooden bridge held by rusted chains and a steel pole lodged into the stone covered in snow. "I don't think there's any other way around." Vlad voices his complaints for everyone to hear.
All around, the people begin to murmur, their voices a mix of uncertainty and fear. They glance at the scratchy bridge ahead, wondering if they'll truly have to cross it, unsure of whether it can hold or if it might betray them with every step.
