4:00p.m.
Jack wears a form-fitting red suit that covers his entire body and head. It has a fitted face mask that covers his head, but leaves his mouth and eyes exposed, with there also being wing-shaped earpieces. His body is covered entirely with protection pads scattered across the suit in various places, such as the torso, to better protect Jack, with the joints areas free for movement so he can run with little restriction. There is a white circle with a green lightning bolt in the center of the chest.
Narration: Jack runs on a long and wide road at a speed necessary for him to create a rift in the dimensional barrier. However... Jack has reached beyond that speed, At his current speed more than 15 rifts should have appeared and he is aware of that.
Jack: (Furiously he screams before stopping his run with a slide finding himself in a long desert biome.) Damnit! Why can't I create any portal!? (through the earpiece comm placed in Jack's helmet Ghost speaks to him.)
Ghost: Perhaps you weren't... traveling at the speed needed.
Jack: I was! I even went as to run beyond the speed of light to make it alot more easier to break through barrier of space yet... (sighs) No portal. It's like I'm... Restricted from doing it.
Ghost: hmmm. Come back to the base, we'll think of something else.
Jack: urgh... (He starts running back the direction he went and as he runs he gets shoved aside crashing on a highway nearly about to get hit by a large truck before grabbed and pulled aside.) Tch... You...
Marcus: (He chuckles) Surprised to see me, Drake?
Jack furiously shoves Marcus back and makes a run at a speed of light.
Marcus: Oh? (He grins seeing the blue trail of lightning Jack leaving. He chuckles before he follows after him with his own trail of lightning being red in color.)
Catching up to Jack, Marcus swings his right fist to the back of the head striking Jack down to the ground, rolling uncontrollably at high speeds before Marcus grabs Jack by the neck and takes him into an abandoned building where he tosses him into, rolling into one of the pillars keeping the building up from the insides.
Marcus: Jack, Jack, Jack. Which Jack, tho? Harvey Drake? Or the bastard, Jackson.
Jack: Tch... (He grunts as he struggles back up to his feet) Does it really matter?
Marcus: Nope. (He speed blitz Jack, Going at high speeds to kick him into the pillar behind him.) You and your variant are the REASON any and of all this shit is even happening.
Jack: Yeah, well... (he coughs) I payed the price for that.
Marcus: Oh. (He chuckles, finding what Jack has said to be a joke) Trust me. You haven't payed anything yet. All the things, you've experienced so far is NOTHING compared to what the universe has, stored for you.
Jack: (He grunts before getting back up once more with a crack from his back.) Why're you here, Marcus? This isn't even your timeline.
Marcus: (He shrugs his shoulders) I could ask you the same thing, Jack.
Jack: What? (He grunts) I don't have time for this. (He generates a blue electrical aura around his body ready to run.)
Marcus: Ah-ahaaaha. (He takes out a remote with his thumb on a dark blue button) You can't leave so soon, the fun just getting started!
Jack: (The aura fades as he looks at the button in confusion) The hell is that?
Marcus: Oh, this? It's just a... trigger to eeeeevery bomb planted in Chicago. Nothing major, nothing small... Well. It's kinda major, given the destruction it could cause.
Jack: Hm. (Crosses his arms.) Dumb move, even for you.
Marcus: Ah! (He chuckles.) You know, I knew you'd say something like that, Harvey. Jackson would have never said it.
Jack: Hm. You think Jackson wouldn't have said it too?
Marcus: Oh, he would, hundred percent but at a later stage, like after stopping the bombs and not already figuring out what to do in an instant like you. You don't know me that well. Only know my history and "max" speed.
Jack: That's because you weak. I don't need to know everything about you.
Marcus: Oh but you do. (He clears his throat) You see, I'm a really smart... guy. And I made these bombs and they are not just your ordinary small nuclear type of bombs you know, I made damn sure of that.
Jack: Oh, yeah? What are they then?
Marcus: They are bombs made with a little mix of compounded particles; one comp is from a drug manufactured by Oiwkman 7 years ago and the other is from a chipped off piece of the sword of Infinity, making each and every bomb capable of eliminating, not just the life in chicago but the WHOLE state, and develop a killer smoke that infects other neighbouring states, giving every person the disorder your dear ol' friend Ezra Darhk once had, the Mimicry.
Jack: (He stares at Marcus speechless that he would even make such an attempt) That... Y-You lying. I know you enough to know that you would never make such a thing. You not a terrorising-type. More of a pest trying to hurt me then other people.
Marcus: Oh! Is that so? Well, you right... partly. You see, you've forgotten that I'm from a futuristic time so advance that i know EXACTLY how humanity falls, everything that happens now, already happened to me, so not doing it, will ruin the chance of my next possible ancestors from ever meeting 3 years after this. But honestly enough, I first hated the thought of doing this, but when I learned that this event is YOUR last, i just had to do it.
Jack: (He grunts) Why?
Marcus: WHY?! It's because you and your father took away the peaceful LIFE time that not only I but the entire universe has ever had. The age of beings besides normal humans was a mistake. The existence of gods, speedsters, aliens was never meant to be. And to make it all alot better, the role as the monarch hero of time was never yours, you stole it FROM me.
Jack: Orgh... You still crying over that? Jesus, Marcus, I-
Marcus: Nooo, no don't "Jesus, Marcus" me, Drake! You're one of the LAST people to be even judging anyone! You chose to go rogue and killed not only my Ancestors twice but killed billions of people around the world, remember that? Happened not so long ago.
Jack: Tch. (He looks at Marcus with a fierce cold expression) So you been in this time for THAT long, huh?
Marcus: Oh, no. I'm in EVERY time, Jack. I'm a damn paradox because of you! All I wanted was to be happy, to be with my family, to be a hero to them.
Jack: Heroes don't plant bombs and or hold grudges for this long instead of being in their own timeline.
Marcus: Mmm. What really is a hero nowadays, you know? We've all been at that very edge of wanting revenge, being thirsty for blood, feeling hopelessness! But again... you're one to talk. And my actions are to keep THIS timeline linear to its history in the future. So, try to stop it however you want, your fate will still be determined by time set at the end of your run. So really, all i could say to you is... When you finally reach hell, make sure to save a seat for me. (He presses the button and tosses it aside.)
Jack: No! (He looks at a near by window and hears a few explosions occurring outside and civilians screaming and running.) No... (Angered his eyes emit a reddish glow as turns his sight towards Marcus with his teeth clenched.)
Marcus: See you soon.
Marcus begins running away and Jack chases after him.
