Chapter 54 - Chapter 51: The Final Step

Kiana finally released his lips with some reluctance, satisfied as she looked at his swollen mouth and licked away the sensation lingering on her own lips.

"Oh my~ Did you 'faint'?..." Kiana licked her lips, pretending to address the unconscious Fu Lin.

"We didn't even get to the real business. Oh well, next time..." Kiana muttered softly as she cuddled Fu Lin and peacefully fell asleep, still inhaling his scent.

"Phew..." Relieved, Fu Lin glanced at the sleeping Kiana. Confirming she was truly asleep, he finally let himself drift into sleep as well.

----------------------------

"Where is this? Am I dreaming...?" Fu Lin looked at the unfamiliar surroundings, startled.

To confirm it was indeed a dream, Fu Lin harshly slapped himself. Covering his face, he muttered pitifully, "Why does it hurt? Could it be that even my dreams feel this real?"

Scanning the empty surroundings, his eyes landed on a large gate in the distance. After a moment of hesitation, he walked toward it.

"Gate of the Underworld?!" As Fu Lin approached, he could clearly see the words "Gate of the Underworld" engraved on the gate. Stunned, he slapped himself again but realized this time it didn't hurt at all.

The Gate of the Underworld slowly opened at that moment. Four figures emerged, waving at Fu Lin as if welcoming him.

"Grandpa, Grandma, Dad, Mom?" Seeing the familiar figures, Fu Lin instinctively moved toward them. However, just as he was about to step into the gate, he stopped abruptly, turned around, and ran in the opposite direction.

"Whoa... what the heck! I don't want to die young!" Panting and drenched in sweat, Fu Lin suddenly sat up in bed, yelling loudly. He glanced around at the familiar room, finally relaxing.

"What's wrong, Fu Lin?" The startled Kiana woke up from his movements, stretching lazily. The blanket slid off her body, revealing her perfect curves to the cool air.

"Why would I dream of something like that? So strange... and it was just a dream after all!" Fu Lin wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, still shaken.

"..." Kiana, observing Fu Lin's nightmare-induced panic, licked her lips unconsciously.

"With me here, nothing bad will happen to you." Kiana hugged Fu Lin to comfort him.

Fu Lin glanced at Kiana and thought to himself, It's because you're here that I'm scared.

"Can I take a shower?" Fu Lin asked, feeling sticky and uncomfortable.

"Of course!" Kiana's eyes sparkled mischievously as she replied.

Grabbing the blanket, Fu Lin wrapped himself up and slowly shuffled toward the bathroom. Once inside, he locked the door, propped a mop against it for extra security, and finally relaxed, turning on the shower.

Knock, knock, knock!

"Fu Lin, do you need me to scrub your back?" came Kiana's voice from outside.

"No, I'm fine!" Fu Lin hastily replied, rejecting the offer.

Hearing his refusal, the figure outside vanished. Moments later, however, Kiana reappeared, now standing beside Fu Lin, forcibly kissing him again.

Fu Lin looked as though he'd seen a ghost. The energy he had just recovered was swiftly drained by Kiana's relentless actions, leaving him weakly slumped in her arms.

"See? I told you you couldn't handle it yourself. You need me," Kiana said, cradling the exhausted Fu Lin. The tuft of hair on her head wagged rapidly, and she sighed as if she were the one inconvenienced.

Fu Lin stared at her shamelessness, unsure of how to respond. He thought bitterly, Is this really how the Herrscher of the Void is supposed to use her powers?

"Good boy," Kiana teased, setting the freshly washed Fu Lin on the bed. She retrieved a hairdryer to dry his hair.

Three days passed in a blur.

During this time, Fu Lin constantly faced the danger of being overwhelmed by Kiana. However, each time she reached the final moment, she inexplicably stopped, leaving Fu Lin to beg for release. Yet every time, he stubbornly endured, frustrating Kiana to no end. She muttered to herself, convinced that all those "training" methods she read about in books were useless.

"I'm going out for a bit, Fu Lin. Be good while I'm gone." Before Fu Lin could say a word, Kiana interrupted, placing a collar with a chain around his neck. The other end was fixed securely to the wall, leaving no room for escape.

"..." Fu Lin touched the collar around his neck, feeling like a pet under Kiana's control.

"This way, I won't have to worry. Just one more bit of energy, and everything will be perfect," Kiana said smugly, clearly enjoying Fu Lin's protests. She relished the look in his eyes, knowing she was his sole focus.

With everything prepared, Kiana's body disappeared from the room, leaving for some unknown task.

"Finally, she's gone. Let's wait a bit longer, just in case she doubles back." Fu Lin lay despondently on the bed, staring at the shredded clothes on the floor. With a sigh, he retrieved fresh garments from his system inventory.

...

"It should be time." Staring at the ceiling, Fu Lin pulled out the random teleportation item, tore it, vanishing from the room.
