[As you know, we have always been fascinated by mysteries and have created countless theories about them. Yet, what do we ultimately find? Mysteries remain unsolved. One unique trait of us Titans is that we never get disappointed by mysteries; instead, we become more curious and strive to delve deeper into their secrets. Titan is a planet filled with countless enigmas, and today, we're going to discuss one of them once again: the Blessed Screen. Yes, we'll be providing a concise overview of it.]
A man sat in his room, watching the Titan Mystery channel on his TV while having breakfast. His beard was long, and his eyes were glued to the screen with deep focus.
[Blessed Screen: This monstrous screen is something you're all aware of. Its size is approximately as tall as a two-story building, positioned right above the second floor of Titan Tower, spanning from the third to the fourth floor. The origin of its existence remains a mystery. Our news team has scoured history books and even interviewed elderly people, but not a single clue has been uncovered.]
Listening to the anchor, the bearded man smirked and muttered softly, "How would they know? Everything was erased by those sitting on the 400th floor."
[ Our experts have a few theories, which I'll share with you. It is believed that the Blessed Screen has existed for thousands of years and serves as a gateway to another world. How did we arrive at this conclusion? As you all know, anyone whose name appears in the top 100 list on the Blessed Screen mysteriously disappears. Over time, this phenomenon sparked immense curiosity, leading to numerous movies being made about it. However, not just any film gets displayed on the screen. Its selection process appears to be unique and remains a puzzle we haven't yet solved. ]
"Heh… You reporters sniff around everything like bloodhounds, yet you've only managed to uncover 20% of the truth after all these years. Kekekeke," the bearded man chuckled to himself with a mysterious laugh, as though he knew the entire truth.
[ This screen opens only once a year, always on the same date and time: November 30, precisely at 12 PM. We've confirmed this by examining historical records spanning several centuries. Whenever the screen activates, it captures everyone's attention, and it succeeds in doing so every single year.
This year, the names of the Elite 100 members were displayed, and as usual, our team immediately attempted to interview them. However, none of them could be found. Once again, it appears that these individuals have vanished from this world. Fortunately, we've uncovered a clue this time, and today, we have a special guest with us: Ms. Jane, the wife of the renowned S-rank director Jacob. Today, she will share with us what she witnessed—something so shocking that it left her speechless for four whole hours.]
"Ohh… Finally, a witness. That's surprise One day, everyone will know the truth—or maybe not, depending on the whims of those on the 400th floor," the bearded man muttered, slightly surprised but dismissing it as nothing extraordinary as he made his cryptic comment.
Jane seemed distressed. By looking at her facial expressions, everyone who was watching the news understood the situation. The anchor, apologizing, asked:
[ I apologize, Ms. Jane, for having you come here under these circumstances. Could you please tell us what happened at 12:05 PM yesterday? ]
Jane became a bit nervous but gathered her courage and slowly turned toward the camera, which was being watched by millions of viewers, all hoping she would share something. The viewers turned up the volume.
[ My husband and I were celebrating the success of our film. And I was asking about the second part of 'TRY-ME' when suddenly, we heard a voice in the room. 'Congratulations, Mr. Jacob. Your name has appeared on the Blessed Screen ' the voice said. And as soon as the voice vanished, a reddish portal appeared beneath my husband, and he fell into it."]
Jane broke down in tears, unable to hold back. The biggest concern for her now was whether Jacob was alive or dead.
"Oho... That little girl, Mentioned it exactly in front of everyone. Well, I've rested enough; now it's time for me to get to my duty. Who knows what my children are up to?" the mysterious old man commented before leaving. At the same time, the same portal that Jane had described in the news appeared, and the man instantly disappeared.
After hearing Jane's statement, chaos erupted among the viewers. A flood of calls started coming into the Titan Mystery channel's guild.
The discussion and chaos spread everywhere. Many people joined the U-See live broadcast to discuss it, and many new theories started popping up. Jane's information quickly spread across the world, and meanwhile, the ten people sitting calmly on the 400th floor exchanged serious glances.
"Mr. 10 King, who opens portal gates without appearing himself and leaves the witnesses alive?" Seated on his chair, Mr. 1 King asked in a serious tone.
Mr. 10 King closed his eyes, and immediately, a golden-colored book materialized in the air. Its pages began flipping on their own until they stopped on a specific one. Opening his eyes, Mr. 10 King firmly stated:
"Vampire Darius, 550 years old, from the Night World."
Listening to this, Mr. 1 King wasted no time and commanded, "Mr. 8 King, bring that arrogant vampire here immediately."
Mr. 8 King closed his eyes and muttered under his breath, "Darius, 550 years old, Night World." The moment he finished, a silver light shot out from his mouth, traveling instantly through the universe.
Night World....
A planet the size of Earth, shrouded in darkness, illuminated by a glowing red moon in the sky. The eerie red light bathed the entire planet, giving it a blood-red hue. This was the planet of vampires.
Inside an ancient, grand castle, in one of its luxurious rooms, a man sat with an arrogant smile on his face, holding something in his hand...
In his hand was a glass filled with a red liquid, resembling juice—likely blood. Around him stood three women, their bodies frail, faces devoid of emotion, yet appearing to be under some kind of intoxication. Their expressions added to the eerie atmosphere.
Sitting across from him was a man whose face bore sheer terror and dread—Director Jacob, the same man who had vanished through the portal. He stared fearfully at the figure before him, unable to look away.
"Heh, so you're the one whose name appeared on this year's Blessed Screen? Hmm... here, drink this," the man said with a sly grin, extending the glass towards Jacob.
"N... no... th-this is... blood..." Jacob stammered, his voice trembling with fear, barely able to form the words.
"Don't refuse. Soon, you too will become one of us, and this will help awaken your Tear."
"Am I dreaming? No... this touch, this feeling—it's real. Have I been transported to another world?" Jacob began piecing together his situation. In the blink of an eye, after stepping through the portal, he had been teleported to this place—the Night World.
As his eyes adjusted, he saw Darius seated before him, and realization dawned upon him: Darius was a vampire. Beside him sat several women who appeared human—they were likely his cattle, Jacob thought grimly.
"You are fortunate to meet the requirements of our world. In the future, you will..." Before Darius could finish, a blue light enveloped his body, and he was instantly teleported away.
Jacob was left stunned, unable to process how Darius had disappeared so suddenly. The human cattle women sitting nearby showed no change in their expressions, remaining emotionless as ever.
Titan Tower, 400th Floor
With a loud thud, Darius landed on the floor in the same seated position as before. Disoriented, he glanced around, trying to understand what had just happened. Surrounding him were the ten kings, seated in their majestic chairs.
Realizing where he was, Darius immediately recognized the situation. His pride bruised, he snapped, "Lord Kings, what is the meaning of this insult? Summoning me so abruptly without warning?"
Mr. 1 King ignored Darius's irritated question and directly addressed the matter for which he had summoned him.
"Why didn't you come yourself to retrieve Jacob?"
Darius felt angered when Mr. 1 King ignored his question. Irritated and frustrated, he casually responded in an annoyed tone.
"I was busy when his name appeared, so I simply opened a portal and teleported him directly,"
"Because of your small mistake, a witness has been created, which has caused us a significant problem," Mr. 1 King said, glaring at Darius in anger.
"What... this is a problem ? , Handle the situation your way by killing witness " Darius retorted arrogantly.
"Tch... tch... This is why I dislike vampires—their attitude and arrogant behavior," Mr. 1 King said, rising from his chair and walking toward Darius.
"Heh... Arrogance? It runs in our blood," Darius smirked, meeting Mr. 1 King's gaze without a hint of fear.
"Do you admit your mistake?" Mr. 1 King asked in a deep, commanding voice as he stood face-to-face with Darius.
"Mistake? What mistake? Oh, you mean the fact that I didn't come to fetch Jacob myself? Is that what you call a mistake in your eyes? Well, if I'm to admit to a mistake, shouldn't I at least do something worth calling a mistake? Umm.. Like massacre!? " Darius spoke with unwavering confidence, implying that a true mistake, in his view, would be something like a massacre.
"This damn vampire dares to threaten us in our own world," all the kings thought furiously, their anger barely contained.
"Darius, I'm asking you one last time—do you admit your mistake?" Mr. 1 King's tone grew heavier, and the pressure around him intensified. The very air in the room seemed to thicken, and the effects were clearly visible on Darius.
"What mistake?" Darius asked again, his tone defiant, making it clear that he didn't see any fault in his actions. His brazen attitude pushed Mr. 1 King over the edge, his fury finally surfacing.
" HELL FIRE "
Instantly, black flames began to engulf Darius's body. He screamed, frothing at the mouth, as tears filled his eyes.
