Chapter 62 - Chapter 62: The Arrogant Snake Aunt Is Not Afraid of Challenges: I Am My Own Parent

Haruto originally just wanted Orochimaru to behave more honestly.

Never in his wildest dreams did he expect the Snake Uncle to transform into the Snake Aunt today. Through an unexpected twist of fate, the "waste kidney" became a fertile new womb, and by chance, a Uchiha descendant carrying Orochimaru's bloodline was conceived.

Haruto's expression was a mix of shock and joy. Since he arrived in this world, he had never once considered that he might end up having a child with Orochimaru.

"What level of power will a child born from the union of Orochimaru and me possess?" Haruto couldn't help but let his thoughts wander, a flicker of excitement glinting in his eyes.

"Haruto!" Orochimaru's sharp voice brought him back to reality. Pointing a trembling finger at Haruto's face, Orochimaru exclaimed, "You… did you cause the child in my belly? I didn't expect your Mangekyō Sharingan to have such bizarre abilities!"

Haruto raised his hands in protest, a helpless expression spreading across his face. "Don't look at me like that. I didn't do this on purpose. Honestly, how could I have imagined you would become… well, a woman?"

"Hmph!" Orochimaru snorted indignantly, though her exhaustion was evident. Her body trembled slightly, and her stomach pain had not yet subsided. "Kabuto," she called out weakly, "help me up. Let's leave this place immediately."

Kabuto hesitated, his eyes darting between Haruto and Orochimaru.

Haruto stepped forward, his voice firm yet tinged with concern. "Orochimaru, you're pregnant with my child. I'll take responsibility for you."

"Shut up!" Orochimaru snapped, glaring at Haruto with venom in her eyes. "Who said I'd let this child be born? And even if I do, I'll raise it myself. I don't need your help, nor do I want you involved!"

Kabuto: "..."

Haruto: "..."

"What are you standing around for?" Orochimaru barked at Kabuto. "Help me leave! I don't want to see this man's face ever again!"

"Uh… yes, Lord Orochimaru," Kabuto mumbled reluctantly.

Kabuto carefully supported Orochimaru, casting a wary glance at Haruto as they prepared to leave. With a puff of white smoke, the duo disappeared, leaving Haruto alone in the clearing.

Haruto sighed deeply. He considered chasing after them but ultimately decided against it. For now, he would let Orochimaru calm down.

---

Somewhere deep within the Land of Fire, Kabuto carried Orochimaru through the dense forest, rushing toward their nearest stronghold.

After an indeterminate amount of time, Orochimaru's tightly furrowed brow began to relax, and the cold sweat dotting her forehead dissipated.

"Kabuto," Orochimaru said weakly, "put me down."

Kabuto immediately stopped on a thick tree branch, gently setting Orochimaru down. "Lord Orochimaru, are you alright?"

Orochimaru moved slightly, testing her limbs, and murmured, "The pain in my stomach has subsided, and the numbness in my body is almost gone..."

"That might mean Haruto's ability has deactivated!" Kabuto theorized. "But let me check again to be sure."

With that, Kabuto channeled chakra into his palm and placed it over Orochimaru's abdomen. After a few moments of concentration, his face darkened.

"Lord Orochimaru," he began hesitantly, "you're still pregnant. This effect seems irreversible. However, once the fetus develops into a more defined form, I can perform a painless termination. It won't affect your health at all."

Kabuto waited for Orochimaru's response, but she remained silent, her gaze fixed on her abdomen. Slowly, she raised her hand and began to stroke her belly with an expression that Kabuto had never seen before—one of rare tenderness.

"Kabuto," Orochimaru said quietly after a long pause, "I've decided. I'm going to give birth to this child."

"What?!" Kabuto's voice rose in shock. "Lord Orochimaru, how can you—"

Before he could finish, Orochimaru silenced him with a firm hand over his mouth. Her piercing snake-like eyes locked onto his, leaving no room for argument.

"Kabuto," she began in a low voice, "there's something I've never told anyone, not even you. For many years, I've harbored a secret desire—something I thought was impossible for me to achieve. I've always wanted to have a biological child."

Kabuto stared at her, stunned, as Orochimaru continued.

"It didn't matter whether I was the father or the mother. But with the countless experiments I've performed on my body, I thought I'd lost the ability to reproduce. I even considered creating an artificial being using my genes, but that plan ultimately proved futile."

A wry smile tugged at the corners of her lips. "And yet, Haruto has unexpectedly made this dream of mine a reality. This child will be born with Uchiha blood, a fusion of my lineage and his."

"But," Orochimaru added sharply, her tone hardening, "I will never acknowledge Haruto as the father of this child. The father is me. The mother is also me. This child belongs to me alone."

"Lord Orochimaru…" Kabuto whispered, awed by the intensity in her voice.

"Listen carefully, Kabuto," Orochimaru said, her eyes narrowing. "This child is not some abomination or mistake. He is my heir, my creation. If anyone dares to insult or harm him, I will destroy them—regardless of who they are, even if it's you."

Kabuto shuddered under the weight of her murderous intent. "Understood, Lord Orochimaru. I will protect the child as well."

"Good," Orochimaru replied, her expression softening as she once again gazed down at her stomach. The malice in her eyes disappeared, replaced by a quiet warmth.

She murmured to herself, "I've spent my life chasing the power of the Sharingan. Now, through this child, I will achieve something far greater. My child will carry the bloodline of both Uchiha and Orochimaru. How extraordinary..."

For the first time in her life, Orochimaru felt something she never thought possible—a glimmer of maternal pride and hope.

---

Meanwhile, Haruto returned to his hideout, deep in thought. Orochimaru's parting words echoed in his mind, and he couldn't shake the strange mix of emotions he felt.

He hadn't intended for any of this to happen, yet the prospect of a child—his child—brought an unexpected sense of anticipation. What kind of future awaited them?

In the dim light of his room, Haruto whispered to himself, "Orochimaru… I'll leave you to make your decision for now. But no matter what happens, I'll ensure this child's safety."

As Haruto sat in contemplation, far away in another part of the Land of Fire, Orochimaru and Kabuto began preparing for the challenges ahead. Despite the unusual circumstances of the child's conception, one thing was certain: Orochimaru would stop at nothing to protect her child and secure a legacy unlike any other.

For both Haruto and Orochimaru, the journey ahead would be fraught with challenges, but the arrival of this unexpected new life would forever alter the course of their destinies.
