Adele's POV
Everything that I could do to make Lance change his mind, I had done it but still, he wasn't making any move to drop the suit.
This got me all fired up when little things started to irritate me. I couldn't think straight anymore and I was quick to always look concentration.
At the moment, I was in our bedroom, pacing about with my hands across my chest, awaiting Lance who was yet to return from wherever he went.
Staring at the wall clock hanging just above my head, I let out a low sigh before plopping on the foot of the bed with my hands still around my chest.
"I'm going to keep trying until Lance listens to me." I muttered, biting my lower lips as I cranked my head to the side.
If anything happened to Nevian, I wasn't going to forgive myself. He had done nothing wrong and I had to make sure he came out unscathed.
The moment Lance pushed the door in, I rose and then walked up to him with my hands across my chest.
