Khloe's POV
The news I kept hearing on TV was terrifying.
The reporters were not helping matters either with the broadcast they were making. They were so intentional with the agenda of dragging Nevian's company in the mud.
According to the little information I could get to Alfred, the worker agreed for a settlement but his lawyer was still pressing charges.
With the current happenings around, I couldn't concentrate at work as my mind kept diverting towards Nevian.
I feared for his safety and to make matters worse, he wouldn't let me interfere in his business.
All I wanted to do was to try to come up with a solution to help him but he was just too adamant.
"Khloe…" Tiara's voice interrupted my thoughts and immediately, I rose, darting my eyes around in fright.
"I'm on it." I spewed, falling on my chair as I began to flip through the documents littered on my table.
