Lance's POV
Adele's sudden interest in business was borne out of jealousy of Khloe, nothing else.
Right there, I tried to dissuade her from venturing into business and even offered to give her a spot in any company of her choice but she was adamant.
"Nevian helped Khloe, why won't you help me?" She said through gritted teeth.
"You are doing this to spite Khloe, nothing else. You have no idea on how to run a business, you are only interested because you saw Khloe thriving in the business world." I snarled, not minding how she was going to interpret my message.
"And so?" She retorted, crossing her hands on her chest.
"I'm going to run my own confectionery company and you are going to help me just the same way Nevian helped Khloe." She said with an air of finality as she dragged her purse off the table.
