Moving his mind away from those thoughts, Nexus looked at the chat window. It was quiet. It seemed most people were accepting their rewards.
So he climbed a nearby tree and after making sure that it was after making sure that it was safe he sat down on a branch.
Opening the personal tab, he looked at the rewards. Although he didn't like the system, it was the only way for him to get stronger.

He commanded as the system panel in front of his started to flash, and new information appeared.

With those a bottle containing viscous green liquid appeared in the ground next to it, in that green liquid white lights were twinkling like stars.
Next to that, a blue crystal the size of a phone appeared, and various red patterns were flashed inside it as he felt a connection to it from the depths of his soul.

He uttered as he looked at that crystal in front of him, even though it was the first time he had seen the crystal he seemed to understand its function.
Putting that thought aside for a moment he looked at the spear that appeared next to him, the only way to describe it was that it was perfect.
A spearhead made of some kind of crystal shining with green light, with ruins written with gold and a wooden body it gave a majestic and ancient feeling.
He grabbed the spear and picked it up, the tip of the spear moved and just that simple motion tore through the wind.

Just as he was marveling at the majestic spear the system voice woke him up, looking at the notice he had a look of anticipation.
Although he doesn't know what important talent signifies, just from the various stories he had read he had an idea.
Bright blue star-like light started to be released by the system panel as his body devoured it like a hungry wolf.

As Nexus released a deep breath, a feeling of unlimited power started to flash through his body. Closing his eyes, he could feel something awakening in his soul.

With that, the original blue panel started to turn red as cracks started to appear on it, for some reason, Nexus felt that something was corrosion it.
No.. it wasn't corruption.. it was more like trying to run a high-end pc game on a flip phone, the system doesn't seem to be able to handle what it was trying to compute.

The system panel started to glitch, it started to release flashes of light Nexus's eyes widened as he felt like the system was going to explode.

With that, the red flashes stopped as the system calmed down, after which it disappeared. Nexus released a sigh of relief, he once again escaped death.
After all, if such a powerful device\being like system explodes there is no way he is surviving that.
The feeling of unlimited power started to fade but a new power took its place, a power that bloomed from the depths of his soul.
Something new seems to have appeared, but even if it was new.. he felt he knew how to use it as if it was just a limp of his body that always existed.
As that power was blooming he sat down, it would still take a little while before his talent fully awakened.
Opening the system panel he saw some changes, well a new tab seems to have appeared, the status tab.
Just as the name suggested it would show his statuses like his race, power, and other things, opening it he looked at the information.
