The training programs I implemented are comprehensive and multifaceted.
Recognizing that strength alone is not enough, I have focused on cultivating a well-rounded military that excels in both discipline and adaptability.
Each soldier is not only drilled in traditional training but also enlightened about the principles of strategy and tactics.
We have introduced specialized units, such as archers, cavalry, foot soldiers, and mages—who undergo targeted training to enhance their unique skills.
The archers, for instance, practice precision shooting under various conditions, while the cavalry trains in rapid maneuvers and flanking tactics, ensuring they can outpace any adversary.
The warriors, who wield swords, sabers, spears, and battle axes—train specifically according to their respective weapon arts. Mages train their magic to better utilize it and discover new spells that increase their power explosively.
Moreover, I have emphasized the importance of physical fitness and mental resilience. Soldiers engage in endurance training, obstacle courses, and team-building exercises that foster camaraderie and trust among the ranks.
This holistic approach has not only improved their physical capabilities but has also instilled a sense of unity and purpose, which is crucial for maintaining morale in the face of adversity.
In addition to physical training, I have introduced strategic simulations and tactical games that challenge our commanders and their deputies to think critically and adapt to changing scenarios.
These exercises encourage creative problem-solving and prepare our commanders to make quick and logical decisions on the battlefield.
By fostering an environment where innovation is encouraged, we have cultivated a culture of strategic thinking that permeates every level of command.
The results of these efforts are evident. Reports from the front lines explain a marked improvement in their capabilities.
Meticulous planning, rigorous training, and strategic maneuvers have transformed our army into a cohesive and formidable force.
The aura of our soldiers radiates confidence and determination. The seamless execution of intricate formations instills a sense of fear, like a powerful, bloodthirsty beast poised to conquer.
The army stands ready, not just as a collection of individuals, but as a unified force, prepared to defend our kingdom and uphold our honor.
Additionally, our enhanced military prowess will act as a strong deterrent to other kingdoms, ensuring that we are respected and taken seriously by them.
Father is deeply impressed by our progress. With Father's consent, we meticulously plan our campaign.
Nalthis dispatches an envoy demanding the surrender of the adventurers involved in the incident. Father resolutely recounts the events and declares our decision to wage war against them. The envoy is surprised by our courage, as they are not used to the bold attitude of the typically passive-natured Lunaris.
The next day, our army embarks on its march toward Nalthis. Taken by surprise, Nalthis quickly gathers its forces, leaving them unprepared for the upcoming battle.
Our Chief Commander, Jonathan, leads our army alongside my royal brother, while I remain concealed. However, the strategy is my design. We march tirelessly and approach Nalthis's territory as dusk falls. Nalthis's army confronts us just outside their borders.
Our troops stand ready, their spirits bolstered by the rigorous training and strategic planning that have brought them to this moment.
At the forefront of our army, the infantry forms a solid line, shields raised and weapons at the ready. Behind them, the specialized units—archers and cavalry—position themselves strategically, preparing to unleash their skills at a moment's notice. But it is the mage units that truly set our forces apart, their presence a game-changer on the battlefield.
As residents of Lunaris, where magic thrives at night, we are proficient in night warfare, whereas the people of Nalthis are not. We await nightfall and then launch our assault.
Jonathan, who is a peak stage two-star mage and also a warrior, is in the lead. Alongside him is my brother, Crown Prince Albart Campbell, who is an initial stage three-star mage with Fire, Thunder, and Space magic. He is a warrior too. Their strong elements and higher skills give us a sharp spearhead that easily tears through their front formation.
Here, every person's proficiency in magic is determined by levels. The most powerful known level is the peak stage of the four-star level. Legend says that five-star level individuals once lived in this world. Every level is divided into initial, medium, and peak stages.
People of the royal family usually have the highest levels. My father, the King of Lunaris, is a peak stage three-star level mage and a very skilled warrior as well. His elements are Fire, Wind, and Darkness. However, since I arrived in this world, my body can use all the elements of nature because we Angels are always proficient in magic.
We connect with the world's magical elements seamlessly and use them at will. Unfortunately, I cannot show this to anyone yet. So far, I have only demonstrated the usage of Healing and Plant magic. I plan to use the Thunder element by the end of this year.
In this world, a person's body stores magical elements depending on their affinity. When one attains a final breakthrough beyond the peak stage for one element, they gain another element. Here, people's so-called star level refers to the number of elements they can store in their bodies. Their skill at controlling them is expressed in three stages.
The amount of magical elements in the environment is quite sparse here. Initially, in childhood, a mage can draw some magical power from nature. Then, through training, they dilute that amount of magical power and learn to use it gradually. They primarily use that amount until their breakthrough, at which point they gain some additional magical power from nature. However, they cannot directly use the magical elements of the environment. But we Angels can easily do that.
Additionally, Angels possess inherent qualities of Light, Healing, and Holy magic. We manifest these attributes innately, regardless of external environmental availability.
Albeit within Alexandra's body, these abilities are restricted to a limited extent. Her Dark magic perpetually counters my Light magic. When can I use this Dark magic, I wonder!
Anyway, now return to our war-
After disrupting the Nalthis army's front formation, we attack them ferociously. The clash of steel and the thunder of hooves fills the air.
Our archers, positioned on elevated ground, release a volley of arrows that arc gracefully through the sky, raining down upon the enemy ranks with deadly precision. Each arrow finds its mark, thinning the lines of Nalthis's soldiers and sowing chaos among their ranks.
But it is the mages who truly unleash the storm. With a wave of their hands, they summon various elemental magics that transform the battlefield into a theater of destruction.
Fireballs erupt from their fingertips, streaking through the air and exploding upon impact, engulfing enemy soldiers in flames. The ground trembles as Earth mages summon jagged spikes to erupt from the soil, impaling those who dare to advance.
The Nalthis army, initially taken aback by the ferocity of our assault, quickly regroups. Their own mages retaliate, conjuring barriers of shimmering energy to deflect our spells and launching counterattacks that send arcs of lightning crackling toward our lines. The air fills with the sounds of Thunder and the acrid smell of burnt earth as the two magical forces clash.
In the midst of the chaos, our cavalry surges forward, executing flanking maneuvers that cut through the enemy's rear. With their speed and agility, they disrupt the formation of Nalthis's soldiers, creating openings for our infantry to exploit.
The cavalry charges with fierce determination, their swords and spears piercing through the disarray, while the mages provide cover, casting protective wards and launching devastating spells to clear the path.
Due to the battle with monsters, their lack of experience is addressed, and their level of teamwork is polished. As a result, we gain overwhelming momentum in this war. As the battle rages on, the tide begins to turn in our favor. Our disciplined formations hold strong against the onslaught, bolstered by the unwavering support of our mages.
With each spell cast and each enemy soldier felled, the morale of our troops surges. The sight of our mages, standing resolute amidst the chaos, their powers illuminating the battlefield, inspires our soldiers to fight with renewed vigor.
In a decisive moment, I rally our forces for a final push. The mages build an intricate formation, channeling their energy into a massive spell, combining their powers to create a cataclysmic wave of elemental fury. A torrent of Fire, Ice, and Lightning surges forward, crashing into the heart of the Nalthis army. The ground shakes, and a blinding light envelops the battlefield as the spell detonates, scattering enemy forces and leaving devastation in its wake.
As the dust settles, the remnants of Nalthis's army begin to panic, their once-formidable ranks shattered by our relentless assault. However, they put up resistance for almost five days due to the timely aid of soldiers from their kingdom. Then, exhausted, they retreat into their borders.
Our soldiers, emboldened by victory, raise their weapons in triumph, the sound of their cheers echoing across the battlefield. The fight was fierce, but we emerge victorious.
My royal brother wants to attack their kingdom directly, but I calm him down and advise him to fall back. We sustain only a few losses, and it's unwise to press our advantage further.
Every army becomes tremendously powerful within its kingdom's borders due to various defensive arrays. Besides, our display of might in this war suffices to deter other kingdoms.
My father welcomes our victorious army himself. He is beyond happy. He believes in us but never thought we would achieve such an overwhelming victory. He is very proud of his children.
This win will cause a stir in various kingdoms. They'll see our Lunaris kingdom in a new light from now on....
