Oh, I forgot about that fallen angel!
A fallen angel is someone who has committed an unforgivable crime that God directly punishes by stripping him or her of their angelic identity. One of their wings turns black from pure white, and their overhead halo transforms into a pair of black horns.
I recently rescued an injured fallen angel from the edge of the jungle near the border of our heaven. I don't know what happened to him; he was unconscious.
I debated for some time in my mind but ultimately decided to keep him hidden and not report him. I wanted to know about his circumstances first before making the decision.
So, I hid him in my treehouse in that jungle. I built and decorated the treehouse when I had just become an adult. As a loner since childhood, I felt suffocated by keeping up appearances among other angels. Thus, I came here to relax.
I've nursed him for several days. He has refused to talk to me normally, though. Sometimes he just makes sarcastic remarks.
But I won't wait much longer. It's dangerous if someone finds out about him-for him and, of course, for me too.
I walk leisurely toward the jungle, as if I'm just taking a stroll. When I notice no one nearby, I enter the jungle, straight to my treehouse.
My parents are normal ranking angels who fell in love deeply and have me as their only child.
My father was a veteran angel, tall and handsome with a pair of grey-white wings. He had long, flowing silver hair, light brown eyes, and thin lips on which a gentle smile always hung. He was a general in the angel army, very responsible.
When I was just 20 years old, he died in battle. As an angel at the age of 20, I was just a toddler. I can't remember his specific details or behaviour clearly.
My mother was heartbroken. She shut herself in our house and only took care of me.
Mother was a beautiful angel with cyan eyes, light blue hair, and a delicate demeanor. She had a pair of creamy-white wings. Mother was so gentle, she loved me so much that I can feel her warmth to this day.
My mother and I were isolated from the outside world. She had been an assistant to Uriel before. Uriel sometimes came to our house, consoled my mother, and played with me.
Uriel is a stunning beauty, with a pure and charming presence that attracts both friends and foes. Her eyes sparkle with a golden light, and her long, flowing blonde hair shimmers like a thousand stars. She is tall and graceful, her gentle smile lighting up her face. Uriel wears a simple white robe, but her true beauty comes from within, as if she's perpetually glowing. As a messenger of God, her presence brings peace and joy to all who meet her.
During my childhood, I never encountered any other angel except Uriel, which made it somewhat lonely.
When I reached the age of 50, my mother also passed away. Uriel confided in me that she could no longer bear life without my father and had only endured for my sake. Once I became self-sufficient, she liberated herself from the burdens of this life and reincarnated.
Since then, Uriel has become my mentor, looking after me to the best of her abilities. I will always remember her kindness and the profound love between my parents, which continues to deeply motivate me.
As a result, I'm kindhearted and full of positive emotions. I couldn't bear to see the demise of an injured, fallen angel. I at least wanted to know what made him like that. If he is a bad sort, then I'll hand him over to the authorities.
But where is he? My treehouse is empty. He was badly injured. How come he vanished when I erected a barrier around my treehouse? How frustrating!
From the time I entered society, there were many incidents where I was taken advantage of because of my kindness. This is nothing new, I'm thinking bitterly. What he said before is true after all. I'm always this stupid.
The next day, I woke up late. So I'm flying right now at full speed to reach my workplace in time. Today's mood is kind of gloomy. What happened, I wonder! But I don't have any interest in knowing the details. I start my work diligently. Near break time, I'm summoned to Uriel's chamber. She looks at me gravely.
Uriel's chamber is imbued with divine energy and boundless wisdom. Imagine a vast expanse adorned with radiant colors and ethereal light. The chamber's walls are composed of shimmering crystals that refract heavenly hues, creating an iridescent glow. Majestic pillars of golden light rise from the floor, supporting the high ceiling. They radiate warmth and guidance.
A grand altar stands in the center, adorned with celestial symbols and sacred texts. It emanates with a powerful aura of wisdom and connection with the divine. Ancient scrolls and books line the walls, containing profound knowledge and teachings. They are accessible to those who seek spiritual illumination. It offers a glimpse into the wonders of creation and the boundless nature of God.
I always like her chamber the most. It is my second home. But today, it feels so cold.
A melodious voice pulls me from my trance.
-"What have you done, dear Merry!"
-"Me! What?"
-"You sheltered a demon?"
-"What! Never!"
Dang, I'm thinking bitterly about how foolish I have been! I never think he will turn out to be a demon! I'm finished!
As expected, Uriel can see the guilt in my eyes immediately. She sighs in exasperation.
"I told you repeatedly to always think rationally, to get rid of your useless kindness. But you never listen to me. Now I can't do anything about this mess you created. Michael will personally declare your punishment."
I'm heartbroken. I know she has every reason to be mad at me. But despite all of that, she is my only solace in this harsh angelic society. When she also take back her support, I'm... I actually can't express this feeling in words 😔🙂💔
