Chapter 2 - Thus spoken Journey II

It felt like a blink of a short moment for Fralla, like the back of his head down to his feet were electrocuted, seemingly lit on fire, and He felt as if he was laying in a soothing warm bath. But now as fast as he felt that sense, He begun to appear in a place unfamiliar to him.

'...It looks like I'm in front of a memorial?'

Indeed, it was a grave site, familiar faces in Fralla's memory were lined up, as he moves a little bit forward, he can't help but take a glance at the name scribed out of curiosity, and in the front of the grave, with his stare, a moment of realization hits, and he becomes utterly bewildered, a few more steps towards the open casket, and it was as if he looked into a mirror

'It's... Me?!'

'Hold on let me walk up further. Is this... Truly me? I died. I think? I would feel sick, but for some reason I can't... How did I die from a lightning strike maaan? My family on the corner and some distant family are wearing all black, their faces pale and grim as can be, with all their prayers.'

'I wished they could cheer up and all. It kills me, it really does... I really...'

'I really wish I could be there to cheer them up, I mean, I am here after all, but I suppose they just can't see me, I never really thought I'd see myself in my own grave though, ugh... Chills.'

'My friends, my family, my possessions and what I've built up for all this time... My dedication to this life swiftly taken...'

Taking a few steps back from the grave site, He began to put his hands to his hips, and what seemed as a sigh came out of his ghastly body, declares,

'Well! I am dead now. So I suppose there's no more reason to think about the past! Yes Fralla! Let's see...'

'Fralla has been killed, and now is cruelly seeing the sight of his grieving family, and dead body! He is now trying to cope to himself by talking in the 3rd person! Yeah...'

Before Fralla could continue a single thought more, a feeling of a shiver interrupted; on his seemingly specter body he couldn't help but to feel this new stimulus and turn. He looked back quickly, and like once more, a bright array of bedazzled light arose, except this time it was a figure that stood. It was a bright figure; Flashing colors of yellow, and white, nearly mixed together, nearly overwhelming his very being.

The man in Fralla's line of sight adorned silky hair, with pale white skin and a large robe falling down from the top of his chest to the floor, where they both stood.

'I swear he's got a max level aura.'

The man only stood with a softened gaze, his expression of that colluding with peace, but melancholy. And right after Fralla began identifying him, he began to speak,

"Welcome to the intermission that lies between the earth and heavens."

Fralla without a voice to speak out of, could only cast his gaze fiercely, whilst thinking,

'And? what's up with this cornball and his crazy aura exuding from his presence?'

The once gleaming smile emitting from this heavenly figure cracked a bit, as he he slowly began to retort,

"...You have been chosen as a transmigrator, however solemn, forget the past! The world of magic and swords is now available to you! I know what you are thinking, so don't go thinking your sly, little human."

'Oh you're a god or something along those lines eh? I think, and I can't help but to raise my nonexistent eyebrow in confusion and put my empty vassal hand onto my chin thinking.'

Doubly cracked, his beguiling face seemed to be a little more irritated, replying in a manner akin to Fralla's,

"You sure talk to yourself a lot, self-monologuing cornball."

'Haaaa? This bastard's gonna make me see red. That's the one thing he shouldn't have said. It doesn't matter if he's god or not, or if my family is there grieving over my dead body! He's catching these hands. He doesn't know I punch metal for fun!'

*Swoosh*

Fralla made pace, running towards and went and lunged at him going for a punch, but unfortunately for him, the man-like god had been able to predict this, placing his hand forward, summoning bright thin, and golden chains, constraining Fralla in the act of trying to retaliate, now making him stuck in his position, in place.

Despite him having a specter body, the chains tug at his soul and essence with a piercing coldness, and immense strength, keeping him truly fixed in his position, as if he was frozen into an ice statue.

'Let me run hands! I know you're scared! Kehahaha!'

The god was now visibly irritated, his presence emanating an immense aura somewhat, stiffening Fralla's already suspended motion. His gaze that was once kind and reverent, dwindled slightly showing, his smile dissipating as the seconds passed by.

"That's enough. I was going to bless you with a strong head start, but good-luck. You will be struggling perilously, although I still reside a great kindness and will bless you with something

special."

He waved his hand up, and the chains were released from Fralla, and although Fralla's attempts to continue being a combatant, the fierce pressure the god exuded stopped him from doing so, as if being warned that something much more grave than death would occur.

'I stopped freezing for a moment, It looks like he's maybe being lenient? Wait what's with this-'

During Fralla's monologuing, the god summoned what seemed to be a magic circle, bringing a golden bell, slowly falling onto his hand, and without a moment's haste after, quickly shook the bell creating a crater-like sound which emulsified what was left of Fralla's hearing, and amidst the loud sound, he thought he had heard the god snickering in vile laughter.

'My ears! My ears! God my ears.... Huh?'

As soon as the sound dissipated, Fralla started to ascend with a quick pace outside the Earth, aiming towards the stars at massive speeds, in a few moments he was outside of Earth's orbit.

The following planets, the Sun, even other solar system's appeared within Fralla's vision, the beauty of the stars all being found, and lost at once, continually spiraling out of his sight.

Fralla continued to look admiring the stars, and was stuck in the gaze of the different swirling colors that appeared all around him. These once stars became more and more messy, continuing the distance, they also got smaller, whilst new stars enlarged in size, the galaxies in the distance, Fralla saw as he was infatuated with such a beautiful sight he has never been able to see on Earth.

The beautiful cacophony of the stars sung a melody to Fralla, although he had no hearing to listen to it, but still was enchanted to such outer worldly beauty. Moment by moment, the acceleration continued, until his vision was a blurry mess—the blur kept on until there was nothing left but a dark color. It kept getting darker, but somewhat of a crimson piercing hue was left, increasing like by the second, just as his vision dissipated.

'It's like I'm being showered with lights all over. The last thing I could recall hearing besides the screeching sound was something along the lines of me being cooked... That damn God, what has he done to me?!'

Fralla's hearing perked up, and as he started to hear once more, the sound he heard could only have been described as murmurs, and the murmurs got louder and it felt like reality itself was deafening his very constitution! The darkness became flashing, and soon enough in sync with his hearing, calmed down, it waned and the faces of two figures and an unfamiliar ceiling appeared, and Fralla couldn't help but listen in on what the two figures were saying.
