Yang Ji is one of the world's most renowned and feared mercenaries, known by the codename "Bellona," after the Roman goddess of war. Her reputation as an invincible strategist, indomitable figure, and charismatic leader has led her to establish an influence that spans Southeast Asia and parts of the West, making her a legendary figure both on and off the battlefield.
Yang Ji was born in China, but her story began with abandonment. She was left in an orphanage in Vietnam by her own parents, members of a prestigious clan, because she was born out of wedlock. In their strict and traditional family, such a birth was considered a dishonor, so her father forced Yang Ji's mother to leave her in the latter's native country. This beginning marked by rejection and loneliness forged a strong and determined personality in Yang Ji from an early age. Possessing a brilliant mind and an iron will, she always sought to overcome the adversities of her environment to become someone worthy of recognition.
From a young age, Yang Ji showed an insatiable hunger for knowledge, which led her to excel academically, managing to access an excellent education.
