Appraisal.
A utility skill use for obtaining information about what you are looking at, By itself it was a non-combat skill unsuitable for battle however depending on how much information it can extract, it still has the ability to change the flow of a battle.
The unknown is scary, not knowing how strong your opponent was is very unsettling and will make you keep your guard ups at all times.
They said knowing the enemy is half the battle won, it is true in an equal fight however the same thing can't be said for Han Xin and his nemesis, the protagonist, Li Chen.
He already knows Li Chen's strongest trump card, The "Heaven snatching technique" so knowing more would not really help him, With time Li Chen will surely become stronger and stronger while he, A human who was not from this planet and knows nothing about cultivation, won't even be able to use 1% of his body's strength.
If only what he got was a combat related skill, he would probably have a better chance of winning against Li Chen.
"Wait… the actual phrase was knowing yourself and the enemy right?" Han Xin thought he then immediately used his newly acquired skill to himself.

"Agghhh" Han Xin suddenly fall down to his knees as he suddenly felt a wave of fatigue hitting him.
"What….." he mutters under his breath as he wonders what was the cause of the sudden phenomena.
Looking around there was nobody in the school entrance, if so, did they hit him with a long range skill? A curse perhaps, as Han Xin continued with guessing the cause his eyes suddenly darted to the screen panel and then he realize it.
This was a cultivation setting and the skill he had just use was it not originally for Magic fantasy stories? So what would happen if he, with a body suitable for cultivation used an unknown power that his body does not even know about?
Over Fatigue…
"Maybe it was part of the reward but I have 1 magic, if I do not have magic…." Han Xin thought and his body shivered.
Han Xin stay grounded on the floor as he read the result of appraisal, the result was simply much more than he thought he will get from using appraisal.
"Bloodline… spiritual roots… cultivation stage…." Looking at the level of the three while surfing the internet, Han Xin realize how talented his body was.
"....A yellow grade spiritual root is 1 in 100,000"
"...most people don't have a bloodline even a low-human grade bloodline is 1 in 10,000"
"....upper earth grade bloodline is 1 in 1,000,000"
"I'm actually also a cheater?"Being at Qi Gathering Stage X at Age 18 was also said to be not normal so he was basically a very talented individual.
"...."
However there's one problem, Han Xin does not feel like he can actually use his power, unlike what he read on those reincarnation novels, he is not feeling any muscle memory or what not in his body that tells him how to cultivate or use a martial art technique.
"There's only one solution" Han Xin stands up and walk towards an open area, he then put his phone down and…
"Hi QiTube, Today I'm teaching you how to start cultivation…"
"First, you gotta calm your mind. Sit down, close your eyes, and relax. Think of this as clearing out all the messin your head. Don't get distracted. Just breathe in... and out. The more relaxed you are, the easier it is to feel that Qi. Trust me!"
Han xin immediately sit down and followed the tutorial and after some time he started to feel Qi in his body and the result shocked him.
An hour has gone by but no matter what he does he can only control upto 10% of his Qi and then the others stop following his control.
"This should not be the case…." He said and then he realize what the reward meant when it says that his Soul and body connection was strengthen, by the looks of it, the body was probably rejecting his soul so he could not control it 100%.
"However even if it's just 10%, i'm still stronger than a Qi Gathering Stage V" while the amount of Qi he can control at once is only 10%, its purity is still much higher than your Average Qi Gathering Stage V which will help him tremendously when fighting against weaker cultivator.
"But this amount of strength is nothing in front of the protagonist, I still need to increase my Villain Aura more if I want to stand a chance against him" Han Xin thought as he continues to surf the internet where he finds an article about cultivation stage.
"Cultivation, This is the path to immortality, a path for power and a very big responsibility given to us, Only those who have talent….."
"Here's the systematic progression of the cultivation stage…"
"Qi Gathering Stage I-X
Qi Refining Stage I-X
Foundation establishment I-X
Golden core establishment I-X
Nascent Soul Stage I-X
and the very last stage of cultivation, Immortal ascension, it said that you will…"
"So there are six different cultivation stages in this city…." Han Xin refuse to believe that Immortal ascension is the last stage, in another city it was probably normal for such cultivators to roam the streets.
He then pulled out the unknown fragment that had been resting on his pocket since a while ago.
"Next is this thing…" The sentient fragment rewarded to him alongside the appraisal skill, Han Xin looked at his current Mana and when he saw it was full again he positioned himself comfortably in the ground before using appraisal on the fragment.
"Ugh…. I will never get use to this…"
[Sentient Fragment]
The other half of a Sentient Core, combine two fragment to make a Sentient core which can be use on a ??? To awaken its consciousness
—
A very short detail about the fragment, it basically meant that this thing is currently worthless to him and that he probably needs to reach the next Villain aura threshold for him to get the other half.
"This means I need to make a plan on how to get more Villain aura" as he thought of that, the image of Fang Lianghua appeared on Han Xin's mind.
"right…. She was the easiest target since she still feel indebted to me however now is not the time" If he wanted to remove her from the scene, Han Xin had to make sure that she will never be able to pay her debt to him.
"I can think about a plan later… it's better if I go and take a look at the classroom and see the heroine and protagonist status screen"
For him to be able to formulate a good plan, he needs to know who would be involved and so, Han Xin sets out to go and meet the protagonist.
