Jefferson's POV
The drive is longer than Andy Bowen and Jack Burke (the longest recorded fight in boxing). I really can't believe Tea just fell asleep right as we were getting on the road. Now I'm stuck here trying to decipher these overly cryptic instructions on a . . . sticky note? Why is something as important as this written on a sticky note? You would think Tea would rewrite this somewhere, being as paranoid as he is. I looked down and tried to read it again, praying it would make more sense. On top of what seemed to be a list of people that didn't do their homework, there was a small, hastily penned message. "Remember what I told you in tenth grade." WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN "What I told you in 10th grade" !?!? DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY THINGS HAPPENED IN THE TENTH GRADE? I WAS THERE FOR A FULL YEAR, AND YOU EXPECT ME TO REMEMBER ONE SPECIFIC THING YOU TOLD ME?
Deep breaths Jefferson, deep breaths. You can punch him when you get there. If you get there. Think back to anything he might have told you, anything that might be of any use. There was the time he talked about Plato thinking that women were like children. That probably wouldn't help. What else could he have told me?
There was that one time he told me I wasn't the target demographic of kidnappings. Probably not. What about when he said tax evasion is better, and that tax fraud is for cowards? Not that one either. Maybe when he said to bring back bullying?
Oh wait! There were those times that he talked about living off the grid! That might be it! Where did he talk about living off the grid? It wouldn't be there, because that's where he grew up. That would be WAY too obvious. He said he'd live in a cabin in the woods somewhere by a lake. He also said that he would live somewhere nobody would expect, but with nice enough scenery. Somewhere the population is low, and people won't bother him. Something about . . . Arizona? Yeah, that sounds right.
Which lake in Arizona? Maybe I should ask Tea, he's been sleeping for long enough. "Tea, stop whining and suck it up! Which Lake in Arizona would Eddy be at?
Tea jumped in his seat for a second, dazed and startled by the break in the silence. He looked around for a second, dazed. "What, What? A lake in Arizona? Ooooohhhh, that's what Eddy meant. If I were him, I'd probably go to Bea–" His eyes rolled back in his head, and he went unconscious again.
(I will add some more stuff later, but I am tired right now)
