Chapter 1 - Hoarding Everything

Sparkling snow sprinkled around him as he looked at his bloody mess with his tattered dress.

"What..in..the..heavens?" he exclaimed.

His heart beats fast as he surveys the desolate snow-covered landscape, surrounded by tall trees and a wild forest.

Slowly standing up, he brushed off the snow from his dress and gazed at the sky with widened eyes. The sky was illuminated by two bright moons, crimson and emerald in color, hanging among countless stars.

As he beheld the strange moons, memories rushed back to him.

His name was Wang Zi, an outer court disciple of the Moon Sword Sect and a lackey of the inner court disciple Yang Lin, the grandson of the Supreme Elder of the sect. Wang Zi had worked diligently for Yang Lin, involving himself in unsavory tasks until he made an enemy within the sect who ultimately ambushed and killed him.

Staring at his reflection in the nearby river, Wang Zi noticed his black hair waving in the cold wind, framing his striking golden irises. His visage looked more handsome than that of any top model on Earth.

After realizing he was transmigrated into this cultivation world and his knowledge of his previous life stimulated all of a sudden, he understood everything.

"Martial Sun King God!!" he exclaimed. "It was a novel that I finished recently," he found himself muttering.

The face of the person who killed him suddenly triggered a memory of the novel named Martial Sun King God.

In the novel, the protagonist, once considered trash, stumbled upon a mysterious item that powered him up, eventually becoming a powerhouse by the end of the story.

After carefully contemplating, he realized that even the name of the sect was the same as described in the novel: "It was the starting sect where the protagonist resides; then he will make this sect master his lackey after three hundred chapters." With a long sigh, he finally grasped his situation and his own condition.

He tore his bloody shirt and threw it into the lake, then sat across from the lake, closed his eyes, and began to reflect.

This is a world of cultivation where only the chosen ones have a chance to become cultivators, but only an insanely talented cultivator can become a god or devil, or even something beyond that, so everyone is striving diligently to improve their skills, to climb higher, and eventually reach the elusive goal of immortality.

Immortality is not an easy thing to achieve; it requires crossing the boundaries of the mortal realm and eventually becoming one with the Dao, the fundamental principle that governs all existence. To reach this pinnacle, one must first ascend through the various stages of cultivation, each presenting its own challenges and tests.

The first stage one must navigate is the body purification stage. Those who embark on the path of cultivation begin their journey here, where they must allow the qi—the life energy that flows through all living things—to purify the impurities within their bodies. This stage is not merely about physical strength; it involves a deep connection to one's own essence and the surrounding energies. Each stage comprises ten realms, and only those who reach the tenth realm can break through to the next stage, gaining a deeper understanding of their potential and the world around them.

After he closed his eyes and focused inward, he sensed his own body, finding no injuries or toxins lingering within him. Despite the fact that he had transmigrated into this body, he discovered that he could not only access the knowledge of its previous holder but also tap into their instincts and heightened senses. As he examined his body with newfound clarity, he realized that everything was in harmony; there was nothing wrong. "Fourth realm of body purification stage..." he murmured to himself, a sense of pride swelling within him.

Looking at his cultivation base, he felt a wave of relief wash over him. Even though he was only a sixteen-year-old youth, he stood above those considered to have average talent. The potential he possessed was extraordinary, and the thought of it ignited a fire of determination in his heart. "With this," he whispered, a confident smile creeping onto his lips, "I can climb higher."

Before transmigration, he lived a normal life in his previous world, always engrossed in fantasies of transmigration and other worlds inspired by the trend in novels and webtoons. But heaven didn't neglect his wish, and he found himself becoming one of those transmigrated individuals often found in novels.

Upon regaining his memories, he recalled the entire plot of the novel. Recalling every twist and every stroke of luck the protagonist encountered, a wild smile crept across his face as he licked his lips.

"Shall we devour everything?" he murmured, his smile widening even further. After departing from the riverside, he ventured into the forest.

The cold weather did not bother him in the slightest, despite his lack of clothing on his upper body. When one transitioned from one realm to another during the body purification phase, they could develop a resistance to both cold and heat.

It was not like they have complete resistance against them, but they still have some resistance against cold and warm.

After he walked through the wild forest, he looked around as if searching for something. Then he gazed at the tall trees covered by pristine snow and climbed with a single jump.

"Hahaha," he laughed in disbelief at his newfound agility, akin to the superheroes he had always admired. "It was satisfying; my body feels as light as a feather, as if I could fly through the sky." After chuckling for a moment, his eyes fixed on a particular boulder. "Found you," he declared, breaking into a wind-like sprint towards it.

Within minutes, he regained his composure, staring at the boulder veiled in vines and leaves yet untouched by snow.

"Here comes my cheat," he murmured.

Placing his palm on the stone, he began to recite an incantation.

"To Heavens who locked me up, to Saints who angered at me, to Fellows who enjoyed with me... I shall trample everything, and everyone who dared look down on me."

As he chanted, the vines withered, and the leaves fell, surrendering to his will.

Suddenly, the boulder shone brightly as the land below started to quiver. Then, slowly, the boulder started to become a dust of sand, revealing a dark cave.

After looking for a second, he then marched straight, without thinking. The cave outside looked dark, but when he entered, it was visible to his eyes, like an entire sun hanging inside, making everything clear.

After he walked towards the cave, everything was nothing but jagged rocks and stalactites. Drop, drop. He followed the sound of drops echoing in the cave as he walked deeper.

Then, slowly, his movements halted at the sight before him. There was a pond swirling like a whirlpool at the center of the cave, surrounded by azure-colored crystals hanging around. The temperature of the cave suddenly started to drastically fall, and he too began to feel cold.

He looked at the pond, then, crouching, he cupped a handful of sparkling azure water. Taking a sip, he smiled, "It really tastes as sweet as described in the novel."

"It was called Fairy Tears, which was found in the second arc of the novel. After the protagonist was chased by the villains, he eventually found this pond. After drinking and bathing in it, he broke through stages and massacred the entire villainous clan."

After recalling every detail of the novel, he praised his memory power. With a sense of determination, he loosened his robes and leaped into the pond without much thought. The whirlpools did not vacuum him in; it felt like a mirage that gradually disappeared.

Enjoying a light bath, he went underwater and settled at the bottom of the pond. Closing his eyes, he began to cultivate. The qi around him thickened, and he broke through another realm without pausing. Continuously breaking through, his whole body quivered, and a black substance emerged from his pores.

His body began to shine, and cracks appeared, resembling a cicada breaking its shell. Suddenly, a bright light erupted from the deep pond, causing every drop to pour out of the pond. Slowly opening his eyes, his golden iris glimmered slightly before dimming down.

His black locks started to wave and slowly dried off by the heat of his body. As he looked at his body, he smiled widely.

"Second Realm of Spirit Purification Stage" He clasped his hands in joy because it was a stage where the protagonist would enter in chapter fifty. If he can compare it to this world view, it was after a year. Basically, he went to the stage where even the protagonist had to enter after a year.

Then, after sweeping his hands, the robes that lay on the ground came back to him. "Now the real game begins."
