Synopsis
Raciel lived an ordinary life until one fateful day when he was thrust into an apocalyptic world, armed with only a mysterious device—the Reincarnation Watch. This watch isn't just a timepiece; it grants Raciel extraordinary abilities and serves as a gateway to countless other worlds. Now, with every mission, Raciel must prove his worth by completing dangerous, otherworldly tasks, each more perilous than the last. The Reincarnation Watch allows him to summon a unique power or artifact, but only once every three days, forcing him to use strategy and cunning as much as strength. As he travels from world to world, Raciel must learn to master both his newfound abilities and the challenges of unfamiliar realms, while uncovering the true purpose behind the watch—and the mysterious forces that sent him on this journey.

Chapter 1 - Awakening and First Mission

"Where am I?" Raciel clutched his head, wincing at the pounding headache, as he scanned his surroundings, finding nothing familiar.

Feeling disoriented, he decided to explore the place.

"I don't recognize anything here. How did I get here?" He muttered, searching for any semblance of a familiar landmark, but there was none.

"Am I on a ceiling? But the last thing I remember, I was in my room." Memories began to flood back to him.

He recalled the exhaustion of a long workday. After clocking out, he headed home, set his belongings down, grabbed a change of clothes, took a shower, and collapsed onto his bed, succumbing to the overwhelming sleepiness.

Yet, how he transitioned from sleeping in his bed to waking up on a ceiling in an unknown place eluded him. Determined to understand, he ventured to the edge of the ceiling.

Peering over, he was met with a horrifying sight. "What's this? What happened here?" He gasped.

Chaos reigned below. Crashed cars, dismembered bodies, and pools of dried blood marred the streets and buildings.

The scene resembled an apocalypse, a nightmare come to life. Terror gripped him. "Is this the apocalypse?" he wondered aloud. As if to confirm his fear, he heard the moaning of zombies roused by his scent.

"This can't be, this can't be," he whispered, panic rising. How could the apocalypse have unfolded overnight, leaving him to wake in the midst of it?

As if sensing his distress, the watch on his wrist began to glow.

"Uh? What's this?" He examined the watch, a recent purchase chosen for its futuristic design. He had worn it since the day before, likely even forgetting to remove it before bed.

While he was confused, words began to materialize from the light the watch projected.

[Binding has finished. Proceeding to create a Personal Panel for the bound person.]

[Personal Panel creation finished. Welcome Reincarnator number 13455386542. You can now browse through your Reincarnator watch.]

"Reincarnator? Personal Panel?" Raciel muttered, bewildered. The situation seemed linked to the watch. Before he could fully process it, new information appeared.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Raciel couldn't comprehend how the watch had accurately identified his name and age, but something inside him began to grasp the strange reality of his situation.

"Did what happens in novels happen to me? But how? I've never been that lucky," he thought, bewildered. The idea was overwhelming, but acceptance came swiftly.

Deep down, excitement bubbled within him. Who wouldn't want to be extraordinary, to be special in some way?

Without hesitation, he decided to take a risk. He clicked on the item labeled "Ability Ticket" in the projection of his panel.

"This must be a ticket that grants an ability, just like its name," he surmised. As soon as he touched it, a roulette wheel appeared before him.

There was no time to think as the roulette began spinning immediately, offering no option to stop it.

Eventually, the roulette halted, landing on an ability. A sudden heatwave surged through Raciel's body. Somehow, he instinctively knew his new ability, not by reading it, but by feeling it coursing through his veins.

"So, I got Empathic Mimicry. Like Peter Petrelli from Heroes," he mused, excitement causing him to tremble.

This was one of the most overpowered abilities imaginable. With it, he could copy or mimic any ability he encountered. It was the ultimate dream for anyone who admired superheroes.

Unable to contain his urge, Raciel impulsively chose to undertake a mission from the Reincarnator watch, clicking on "Missions."

[Starting Mission… Survive for 3 days.]

[Teleporting to mission world…]

"Oh god, why did I do that?" he groaned, slapping his forehead in frustration at his rash decision.

Realizing he needed to prepare for the mission, Raciel took a step forward, but dizziness overwhelmed him, and his vision faded to black.

When he regained consciousness, he found himself in an alley. He could hear cars passing and pedestrians walking by. Though he didn't know his exact location, one thing was clear: he needed to learn quickly if he wanted to survive.

A couple of hours passed by and Raciel learned where he was, it was 1983 in New York.

"To think that I'm in the Marvel Universe. What's worse is that I'm in the event of Apocalypse. Now I know why the mission is to survive for 3 days." Raciel Sighed while in front of the door of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters school.

Or what is normally known as the X-Men Mansion/School. At this moment Raciel was a little hesitant about whether to enter and be present in the events that are about to unfold or just wait and appear when everything has happened.

But that's the problem, he didn't want to risk it because the first option is more safe and he could mimic the abilities of the young mutants, he wanted the better abilities of the stronger mutants like Charles or Mystique.

The second option is more risky and could even lead to death, but there is more probability of getting all the abilities he wants to mimic, including apocalypses.

While being indecisive, a car pulls up behind Raciel. Turning towards the car, Raciel immediately recognizes who it is, not because of the car, after all, who could remember the model of the car to identify someone? It was because he saw the one who was driving on the wheels.

Seeing that Alex stopped in front of the door, Raciel went up to the driver's side and asked "Are you guys also going into the Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters?"

Alex Summers, the driver is taking his brother Scott after awakening his mutant powers and seeing Raciel. Smiled at him "Yes, what about you?"

"Same. I need Professor Charle's help in controlling my mutant abilities." Said Raciel lying a little bit, what he needs is to mimic the abilities of others not help in controlling his.

"Come on up then, I'll take you inside." Alex volunteered to take Raciel inside the School.

"Are you sure? That would be helpful."

"Of course. Nice to meet you, my name is Alex Summers." Alex then extended his hand for a handshake.

"Nice to meet you too, My name is Raciel Gonzalez." Raciel then shakes Alex's hand.

Entering the car, Raciel then looks at Scott and already knowing why he has a cover over his eyes, decides to ask "Why does he have a cover over his eyes?"

"Is he hurt?"

"He is not hurt, he just awakened his latent mutant powers and now he can not look at anything without destroying it. His name is Scott and he is my brother." Alex presented Scott to Raciel.

"Nice to meet you, Scott." Raciel greeted Scott.

"Don't talk to me." Scott immediately brushes off Raciel.

"Don't mind him, he's just moody right now." Alex was embarrassed by Scott's behavior.

"Don't worry, I don't mind." Raciel was pretty chill about it, after all since he entered this car he had already mimicked Scoot's mutant ability.

And the reason he is not like Scott, shooting around laser with his eyes is because he can choose to manifest an ability whenever he wants.

Inside Xavier's School for the Gifted Youngsters, Raciel although unnecessary was helping Alex take Scott towards Professor Charles.

This was also on his schedule, Professor Charles has one of the abilities he needs, and the contra-mesure again telepathic from this and probably other worlds.

At this moment a Red-headed beauty crashed against Scott, all her books and even the papers that she had on her hands ended up falling from her hands but before they touched the floor they started to float suddenly and then went back onto the hands of the Red-headed beauty.

"I can't." Scott suddenly said.

"Who are you talking to?" Alex asks while looking at Scott weirdly.

"Me." Said the Red-headed beauty.

"I just heard you in my head." Said Scott perplexed.

"She is a telepath, she can read minds." Raciel said with an excited voice.

The moment that Raciel said this, the Red-headed beauty looked at him in surprise while Alex looked weirdly at Raciel.

"How did you know?" The Red-headed beauty asked Raciel surprised at his knowledge.

"I deduce it based on the fact that Scott said he heard you on his mind, also because I felt it."

"I can't believe I met Jean." Thought Raciel.

Everything that has happened until now is the same as how the movie went about. Of course without his intervention in the middle, more over Raciel just got Jean's ability.

Although it is controversial what exactly Jean's abilities are, it is indisputable that Jean has two abilities. One is the Phonix Forces and the second one is an effect of her first ability which is telekinesis and telepathy.

What Raciel mimics wasn't her first ability because it may be thought to be an ability it is more like a force of nature. The abilities that he did get are Telepathy and Telekinesis.

At this moment someone coming down the stairs said loudly with surprise "Alex Summer?"

Alex seeing who it was surprised "Hank McCoy?"

Shaking hands Alex surprise at Hank's current look.

"Wow, What happened to the big blue furry you?"

"I kept that now under control." Said Hank.

"This is my brother Scott, and that over there is Raciel." Said Alex after pointing towards Scott and then Raciel.

"Raciel came here to seek help from Charles just like my brother in learning how to control their abilities."

Hank shakes hands with Scott and then with Raciel.

"Hello, Scott and Raciel. I'm Hank McCoy and I am one of the teachers here."

"Hello, Professor Hank. A pleasure to meet you."

Hank then looked toward Scott expecting a greeting but he kept quiet, so Alex to try and break the silence asked for Charles.

"Where's Professor."

While walking down the hallway of this mansion, Raciel could hear Professor Charles's voice. Arriving at a library there was Charles Xavier in a wheelchair.

At this moment Charles still had his hair, the moment that Charles saw Raciel, Scott, Alex, and Hank he stopped teaching and left homework for the kids.

"What did he mean when he wrote all that? That's going to be your assignment for tomorrow, Class dismiss." Professor Charles then closed the book that he had in his hands.

"Alex! Is good to see you."

"You too."

Alex hugged Charles and then went back with his brother and tapped his shoulder.

"This is my brother Scott and that is Raciel. I meet him at the entrance."

"Hello, Scott and Raciel. Welcome to the school of the gifted." Said Charles nodding his head in a greeting way.

"Yeah, It doesn't feel like a gift." Said Scott sarcastically.

"It never does at the beginning." Said Charles.

"For me, it is like a gift. I just need control over my ability." Said Raciel while thinking about the situation he was in before arriving here and how he's going to be after he leaves here.
