Chapter 7 - Reinvigoration of Thy Spirit

{Meanwhile, outside David's castle}.Above the city of Treesape remained the only source of massive light, Chris Deratea. Engulfed in his anger and rage for the world, he looked down upon the streets with many survivors still alive and wiped them off with a powerful instant swipe of energy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------{Chris's Perspective}"(These humans, how silly that they try to run and hide from my wrath. I am now transcended into something more than these mortals, like them in the outer galaxies. Only now can I bring about my will for these filthy mortals; all they care for is their gain, only if it benefits them and them alone. Mother, I will avenge you, innocent, pure-minded, and loving human. I'll cut the prince's head off slowly; I want him to suffer as much as I can make him, making him be tormented where I can watch as his blood gushes out like that of a volcanic eruption, ready to scar the land. I so desperately want to hear him scream and cry for mercy; only then can I feel the relief of the burden he placed upon my head.)." I thought to myself while hearing the screams and deaths of those in the streets. My anger felt like that of a gamma-ray burst to erupt in the cold, vast, endless stretch of space, and it only grew deeper, darker, and more hellish as I thought about that cold-blooded, so-called prince of this land. Then, I heard what sounded like that disgusting old voice that spoke to me before; it said to me command fully, "Ɏøᵾ ħȺvɇ ȼømᵽłɇŧɇđ mɏ ᵽłȺn, Ⱥnđ nøw ɏøᵾ ȼȺn ɍɇɨnvɇnŧ ŧħɨs wøɍłđ Ⱥs ɏøᵾ đɇsɨɍɇ; ħøwɇvɇɍ, Ɨ mᵾsŧ Ⱥsꝁ ɏøᵾ. Ħøw ɨs ɨŧ ŧħȺŧ ɏøᵾ wɨłł ꝁɨłł ŧħɇ ᵽɍɨnȼɇ ønȼɇ Ⱥnđ føɍ Ⱥłł?" I heard his disembodied voice speak so sluggish to my head. I felt the bullet hole in my forehead begin to open again after the voice in my head asked me; the pain was like a nail going through my skin and skull. I answered and said to the voice, "I'll wipe this whole city to ashes." Even then, my answer angered the voice and caused more pain to my forehead while screaming like a maniac. At some point, the pain vanished from me and caused an idea to emerge, "(That's it. I'll just have the Titan Guardians handle the knights; I know you're still alive, Taski Mandelen. I will hunt you down, and I will execute you and all who you love.)" I thought hatefully to the prince. Furthermore, I will continue to wait until the time is right; until then, Taski, work up what you can with all you've got because you won't get any sympathy from me.{End of Chris's Perspective}------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------{Narrative Perspective}Returning to the Treesape Castle, Taski stands before King David, along with Queen Tailzy. He confesses the truth about working with the ex-solar pyramid assassin, Mandy Oliver. "King David and Queen Tailzy, it has come to my understanding why you question my actions of carrying Mandy Oliver, a former Solar Pyramid assassin. The truth of the matter, King David, is simple: Mandy has some knowledge about the madness happening before our eyes and agrees to help solve this together. She could be the key to helping us restore the world to its former state and that I have not betrayed or retaliated against the Asalikan name, pride, nation, or her people." The prince, Taski Mandelen, presented before the King and Queen confidently. King David and Queen Tailzy trusted his speech; However, they both offered him the dangers of her presence within the castle limits. They also questioned him on why they believed trusting her would bring gruesome consequences. Taski battled for her rights boldly before the King and Queen, which shocked them heavily, seeing him fight for an outsider of their land. In the end, King David struck Taski with an order to sentence Mandy to outside limits for safety measures of those within the castle; David also pointed Taski to dispute against the orders of the King and Queen. Taski walked away from the two and escorted Mandy towards the guards, allowing them to escort her out from the castle into the outer gates of the castle yard. Afterward, the prince searched for Ariah's room again; he found her room shortly after and found her awake, staring out the window. The two sat close to each other; Ariah placed her head upon Taski's shoulder, resting her headache on him. "I don't get it; I don't see it being right to force Mandy to remain outside the castle, all because she's been in the enemy's shadows all this time. It doesn't seem right, especially after she agreed to help us." Taski announced to her, seeking her input in the situation. Ariah responded, "I understand where you're coming from and feel your pain. I wish I could do something to help you feel better, and I hate that you're frustrated like this. I don't like Mandy for the many things she's tried to do to you; despite that, I believe it's wrong that King David did what he did to her as well." The two watched the dark red skies flow past them throughout the night while witnessing many explosions in the city. The prince's heart was troubled at the thought of watching destruction fall in the streets; Ariah felt his heart in pain and placed her hand upon his heart to spread her ability force within him. She attempted mental recovery upon one's heart that felt disquieted; later, he left her room and walked the castle walkways to clear his mind off the world. "(I just need to forget about everyone and the world for a minute; I can't find restoration with my mind hooked on trying to fix everything. I feel like all I do is make things worse when I want things to go differently; there are too many moments where I've done just that. Maybe I need to speak with my ability force and see what's on him currently.)" Taski thought to himself as he found a perfect resting place in the castle's walkway, away from everyone and everything distracting. He positioned himself against the wall behind him and looked into the high view of the sky out the window, not for long. Shortly afterward, he then blacked out his vision and focused his force steadily; the ability force surrounding him shook his body comparatively. After that, he felt himself black out from reality and was greeted by Eden (Ariah's Ability Force), "Why have you come here, household of Thorn? Have you come to take control over your force's anger? If so, he is in the flames; take no time to chat with me; hurry and go." Eden commanded him, eagerly pushing him over to Thorn. Taski witnessed the unpleasant and fearful roars of his fire inside him; the flames and the heat waves scorched him even when he was meters away from the monster that burned with anger and rage, the blazing spark that resided within the prince. Taski approached him steadily and was predisposed to summon his sword for battle, "THORN! Stop this — Now! Control Yourself; you've become this monster that I'm struggling to control; you're pushing Ariah away from me and Eden!" The prince shouted in absolute command against his raging force. With his words reaching Thorn's hearing, the blazing spark of fire turns his vision towards the prince and scorches the surrounding area, nearly melting the son of the land. "SHUT UP! LEAVE ME ALONE, YOU FAILURE!" Shouted Thorn in wrathful anger. He continued grunting aggressively without reason to the two, and Eden placed her hands upon him gracefully and spoke words of comfort and peace into him, edging him to walk through the flames without fear. Taski did so and proceeded through the fire of his force and confronted the mad blaze. After the prince approached Thorn, the blaze struck behind him with his flaming fist, and an eruption occurred beneath Taski's feet. Thorn then charged Taski head-on with his hands spread out to claw against the brave hero of Asalikith; Taski quickly summoned Flame Core and clashed against the monster. Their attacks clashed loudly like two massive stones being smashed against molten hot rocks, and their flames were on par with each other as they struck at each other speedily. Then, once Thorn became slower against his owner, Taski slashed through Thorn's hip, and the effect was far too significant. In a turn of events, Taski's hip was sliced open, likewise where he struck against Thorn; it then became apparent to the prince that wherever one's ability force is attacked, there also is the owner of that force struck as well. Blood flooded out of Prince Taski and caused him to stagger heavily on his footing, "(I didn't think the same damage I dealt to him would also affect my physical body as well. Shoot! This isn't good for me.)." He thought to himself in fear. Taski then trampled to the floor and coughed up much blood out of his mouth, and Thorn likewise felt the same pain his owner felt; the two were on the verge of physical death until Eden passed through the flames quickly and found the two at their death. "TASKI! THORN!" She shouted in panic. Returning to the physical world, Ariah Marylinn walked throughout the castle alone, searching for the prince; she had not found him anywhere on the third floor of the castle, "The prince is not here where you are seeking; last I saw, he went up towards the top of the castle." One of David's top guards mentioned to Ariah. She then proceeded to the top floor, and as she walked to the top, she sensed Taski's ability force was absent from him, and his heart rate increased. "(I hope he's okay up there, I can't feel him at all.)" Ariah thought as she walked her way up. Then, she witnessed an image that could not be unseen for her, "TASKI! NO!" She cried loudly throughout the entire castle as she spotted Taski with his sword slicing into his abdomen and saturated in his blood. She wastes no seconds and rushes to his aid quickly in a panic, immediately exploiting her remaining healing love to his wound. "TASKI, Why!? Why would you do this?" She demanded his answer. Taski's mind began to resume natural function as his blood loss and pain caused his body to shut down slowly from slicing himself. "I'm sorry..., Ariah." He pleaded to her for forgiveness as his body sealed his wound up. As the bloody wounds heal, Taski makes everything clear to Ariah about what happened to him, and his answer becomes a shock to her ears. Ariah's anger ignited with all her healing love going into the prince for restoration. As she demanded an explanation of his actions, her hair began to shine partially, with a light pink glow. Taski wondered what had happened to her but noticed her face began to change with anger and confusion. "I can't believe you'd do such a thing, Taski. After all, you tried helping me out. After telling me everything to abstain from doing, did you come out to do this to yourself? I wanted to leave the exams that day and forget about the knights because I felt unsafe around Yegor, so now you're going to try something stupid like this!" As she irritated him, Taski's heart sunken into defense, but he noticed something different about her appearance. Ariah's eyes then suddenly changed into a light green color; not only that, but her hair color shifted to a light pink color that captivated his eyes. "Why would you try to fight against your force so recklessly!? You put me into a fear which I couldn't even react to. Are you trying to give me and everyone here a heart attack!?" Ariah raged at him out of fear, demanding an answer from him. Tears freely flowed from her eyes and dripped onto Taski's clothing, along with the remaining blood left on his clothing. At the same time, she clung to him tightly, expressing her sorrow freely in his chest, along with her painful cries that tore the heart of Taski powerfully. Taski held and gripped her, "Ariah... I didn't know this would happen. You're right; I committed hypocrisy against you, urging you to do your best. I should've stayed by your side and healed together, instead I went off and acted a fool to try to prove nothing, nothing but the fact that I acted ignorant before you. I promise to never act about this again." Taski admitted before her and promised her of his newly formed thinking. Ariah stared him down and reverted from her transformation drive. "That which you have seen is my transformation drive. I try not to use it too much, as my personality changes dramatically, and I don't take pleasure in coming off too strong with her. I like to call her Clover Heat."------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
