Adobe flash games were really popular, you could easily play a variety of games on browsers. You could play multiplayer games on the same device.
Every evening was fun, from wrestling to flash games on browsers. However, there were 2 more things which our boy found amusing.
[TV Playing] Ishant Sharma's swinger tears through the stumps!
This bowler impressed me.
"Ishant is a raging bull!!! I'm a fast bowler now!"
[During afternoon on a holiday in the corridor]
"Aight lads, Im gonna bowl, who's batting?"
I think of Ishant's bowling action and bowl at the his legs and BOOM!
"Alright, who's next?"
Launches the bowl at the same length again, and another wicket is down!
"Hat-trick bowl!"
Oh well, but there are only 4 of us, with 2 players in each team, so a hat-trick isn't possible. I liked Ishant Sharma, his aggressive run-up, hairs bouncing in the air while sprinting and a really cool bowling-action.
The living room was big enough to grab a ball and just bowl it at the wall or sometimes tossing the ball and trying to catch it like fielding at boundary. The TV was usually on at that time, playing Pokemon.
[Another Afternoon]
The teams of 2 are out to play on the corridor pitch.
"I'm bowling again"
Quickly strikes 2 wickets again.
"You really have become a good bowler"
[Evening] At miragine war night, it was found that mixed armies are much stronger. As well as more adobe flash games were discovered.
[Back at home, 4 people in room, all eyes sticked to TV]
Rohit Sharma makes the highest number of runs in ODI!!!
That whole inning was crazy, you couldn't blink your eye, Rohit was just raining fire. And I found my another favourite cricketer. Rohit was talk of the house for the whole day, now I started to grab a bat while playing in the living room and Pokemon was playing on TV.
Meanwhile the chess titans video game impressed us, it was time to learn a new game. Ofcourse, chess was already present at our homes but we didn't know how to play it. The video game was really helpful while learning it though.
"I see, pawns are the main thing in this game, your army formation tells whether you are gonna win the battle or not, moreover the king should not be locked in a castle like queens, it should be present on the battle ground in the formation."
We had 2-3 grown-ups in our group too, 2 of them were aware of chess. After learning this game, and playing many with the chess titans cpu, it was time to challenge real humans.
"Today we are playing chess"

As I had known, pawns decide the game, the main military was able to control most of the game for me, leaving other units aside to clear any remaining ones.
"Check"
"Check"
"Checkmate"
That was nice, we continued to play more chess later.
Then I realised that my focus should be on the enemy king, other units can be ignored. I changed my strategy from weakening the opponent's side to directly attacking the king. After winning a lot of battles with friends, it was time to finally challenge the grown-ups.
"Hey bro, let's play chess"
"Checkmate"
That was a quick game.
On playing with chess titan's cpu at hard difficulty, I became even better at the game, now I was ready to challenge the adults. My mom knew chess moves. However the games with her and my friend's mom were quick too. I finally became a very good chess player and could predict quickly, once i took down my grandpa's entire pawn unit in a row.
Meanwhile in cricket, I became good with the bat.
"Today, I will be batting"
I could play some good shots, because I would grab my bat whenever the match was on. "I don't want to play with you anymore, your shots are making the ball go down the stairs again and again."
Now I was an all-rounder because of my cricket heroes and also the best cricket player in my group of friends too.

"Our new house is being built at that location."
"We are shifting our house again!?"
"Yes"
I had mix feelings about this, I couldn't think of getting separated from my friends.
[Playing Game of Life at evening]
I was always given the role of banker while playing game of life, that role was always thought to be cool.
"Btw, our new house is being built, we will shift soon."
Later when their moms found out about it, they would usually ask
"Hey are you going to miss and visit us after you shift to your new house"
"Well"
Inner me - "I have never visited my friends from the previous 3 houses, why would I be visiting them?"
This was also the year when I switched schools, losing connection with the only female friend I ever had in my life.
[Before joining the new school]
"You need to learn all of these, the students at the new school are going to be very smart."
"Mom, do I really have to do all of that? what would they teach me there then?"
"Just learn!"
[Day 1 at the new school]
While I went there a day before with my parents, just to see it, I forgot where my classroom was. I was going through the stairs up and down, on each floor, looking for my classroom, I just couldn't find it. My eyes were already becoming teary, I went back to the gate and finally asked someone.
"Bro, can you please tell me where is 3B?"
"Sure,
"Can you please take me there?"
"Sure, let me just keep my bag, come with me"
I was finally relieved, until I reached the class and found out I'm the 78th student of this class.
I already knew what they were teaching most of the times, even though I joined 2 months after the class started.
[Maths surprise test]
"You can't solve this?"
"Nope"
I was surprised when they couldn't solve very easy questions which I had already known before joining the school, I just wanted to show this to my mom.
After I finally got to know other students, there were some interesting topics to talk about during class. It was believed that there is a graveyard below the school, though the mystery couldn't be solved.
I wasn't shy while trying to establish a communication, I'd always tell them about my apartment, my friends and about the risky staircase which the security guard uses to access the water tank.
I had to be away from the school for 1.5 months again because I got typhoid. I had already missed 1 normal exam, and just missed another normal exam because of it. It was the first time I got admitted into a hospital After getting discharged, I could take the rest meds at home, played a lot of videogames.
"You're back"
I was welcomed after a long break, and now a big exam was upcoming. My mom made me work hard and I managed to A+ in all the subjects.
I once went to the construction site of the new house, I got the idea of entire house in my mind and made a model of it using legos at home. My parents actually liked it and asked me not to break it till the house is ready.
With the start of 2015, the cricket world cup was on with Australia and Newzealand smacking all the teams, we also started packing our stuff up.
House was almost ready too. Before shifting, there were huge lunch & dinner parties with relatives at the new house. This is when I realised what is going to happen, I was controlling my feelings while sitting there but couldn't hold it for long, finally started crying. This time I was sad, I was going to lose and miss my friends.
"Hey why are you crying?"
"I want to go back home"
"This is where we will be shifting to in a few days"
That hurted even more. Went back home tolerating that day, and now I just wanted to play with friends as much as i could.
The loading vehicles were finally here.
All the stuff couldn't be shifted on the same day, the rest was supposed to go on the next day.

I was not given the role of banker because I had it a lot in the past. I didn't mention that the last day of loading will be today and I don't remember whether I got that role or not while playing my last game.
Everything was finally shifted, and now we are at the new house.
