Kael turned to Min Ju, "What do you want to do?" He asked.
"Can we follow him?" She asked, hoping he agrees. She didn't bring her own car; even if she did, she wouldn't be able to track him, like Kael would.
Kael immediately turned the car around, and started following the car, making sure to keep some distance.
The man checked the mirror and frowned, when he saw a car on his trail.
He had seen the same car, by their side, and he hadn't thought anyone was in the car.
He increased his speed, and switched to a different route, to shake them off.
Kael smirked, loving the challenge.
He reversed, and drifted the car, driving through another lane.
The man smiled, when he didn't see them on his trail anymore. "Why am I being followed by the way?"
Min Ju checked the rear mirror, " Where are we going? He's getting away!" She exclaimed.
"Sit back, and relax, firefly." Kael said, increasing the speed of the car, and Min Ju remained silent, despite wanting to tell him to change course.
But what could she do? It wasn't her car, anyway. He's only doing her a favour.
Kael swerved, driving into a free lane, " Sit tight" He said, and the car accelerated even further.
Min Ju was almost sure they would have an accident, because of the insane speed, at which the car was moving.
She closed her eyes in fear.
"Gotcha!" Kael exclaimed, as he put the car to a stop, and Min Ju peeked, surprised that there wasn't even a scratch.
She gasped, when she saw the car they were trailing right in front of them, cornered by Kael's car.
"Woah" She couldn't hide the surprise.
"Told you to leave it to me" Kael chuckled, and got down from the car.
The man driving sighed in frustration. He had thought he had escaped, bi6t was shocked when he saw the car right in front of him.
He had already been cornered in a way that he couldn't easily reverse back.
"Come out. Now!" Kael ordered, standing in front of the car, and he had no option than to come out of the car.
He opened the door, and made to run, but Kael got to him, before he could carry out what he was thinking.
"Don't even think about it" Kael said, pinning his head to the car, and he groaned.
"Get the pictures in the car" He said to Min Ju, who did as he said.
She got to the car, and got the pictures.
He gasped when he saw that she was the same person he had been asked to track.
Kael raised his face up," Don't try to run away. I'm very good at hunting people down" he threatened, and the man gulped.
Looking at who was in front of him, he could tell he was no ordinary person. He had worked with different people, and the aura Kael was exuding, was far more dominant and cold than anyone he had worked for.
"You were sent to trail me, right?" Min Ju smirked.
"What's your name?" She asked, and he hesitated. But, Kael's cold gaze made him speak up. "Dean" he answered.
"Since when did you start working for her. Don't even try to lie about anything I ask you right now. You don't want to play with death, do you?" She asked, grinning. And Dean trembled.
The two people in front of him were scaring the hell out of him.
They both spoke casually, but every of their word seemed to hold an underlying intent that couldn't be toyed with.
"What do you want from me?" He asked, and Min Ju laughed. You are asking me what I want?
That's so stupid. You were paid to track me, and finish me off, if you catch me doing anything shady, and yet, you ask me what I want from you?' She asked, and he went quiet.
"How much were you paid?" She ashed, and Kael watched her handle the situation. He wanted to see what she was capable of.
"I was given a thousand bucks" He answered.
"I'll give you five thousand dollars" She said, and his eyes widened.
"Tsk, the thing money does to people" Kael chuckled, remembering how Myung Hee had reached, when Zach offered the deal to her.
He looked at Min Ju, wondering what she was up to.
"I'll give you the money, on the condition that you work for me.
Do you want to collect a thousand dollars and do as she as sent you, track me" she smirked, and he swallowed. How would he track someone like this? Not only is she scary herself, the man with her is even...scarier.
He looked at Kael, who gave him a sinister smile, then pointed to Min Ju. "She's the one talking, face her" He said and he quickly returned his gaze to Min Ju
And she continued, "Or better still, you work for me, and collect five thousand dollars." She offered. "What do you think?" She asked.
He really needed money right now, and that was why he accepted the job for a thousand dollars, in the first place. Ji Ho had refused to increase the money, and he had had no option but to agree.
But now, someone was offering a whooping five thousand dollars.
"What would I be doing for you?" He asked. "Don't answer me question for question" She snapped.
"I asked you a question, so you reply me" She said. "So, like I said; What do you think?" She asked again.
"I'll work for you... provided you give me the money" he said, and Min Ju brought out her purse, and gave him three thousand dollars.
"Do what I want, and you'll get your balance" She said, and he agreed.
Kael chuckled, as he watched them. "She handled it better than I expected" he muttered.
"You handled that really well" Kael said, when they got into the car, and she smiled.
Kael looked at her, she looks really timid and innocent now, but when she was with the man, she acted totally different.
Like she was way older than she is.
"Firefly is sure bold" He chuckled.

THE NEXT DAY,
Min Ju was in Hye Soo's room, chatting. She hardly stays in her dad's mansion, and although Hye Soo wonders why, she didn't ask. When Min Ju is ready to tell her what's going on, she will.
"Min Ju, you won't believe one annoying freak I met some days ago." She said, and Min Ju listened with interest. Hye Soo is always having crazy gists, and she usually enjoys them all.
"Who is this annoying freak?"
She explained the incident that happened the day and met Zach and Min Ju laughed. "He called you 'crazy girl' ?" She chuckled.
"Yes! Can you imagine? He's just so annoying."
"I wonder why he would have such an handsome face, and he'll be that annoying"
"Someone has a crush" Min Ju said, with a knowing smile, dancing on her lips.
"Of course not" Hye Soo retorted, and Min Ju nodded, smiling.
"He's cute though" She mumbled.
"Tsk, she isn't crushing on him, yet she's dreamily thinking about him like he's a long lost lover" Min Ju laughed.
"Hey!" Hye Soo whined, throwing a pillow at her.
The two best friends laughed, making fun faces at each other. At that moment, they forgot all about the little problem or challenges either of them were facing.
