In the surveillance room within the temple, Violet was sitting idly, crossing her long legs and chewing on a lollipop.
This surveillance room was connected to hundreds of orbital satellites floating in Earth's orbit, capable of monitoring every corner of the planet and even every star sector in nearby space. Any major incident on Earth or in the surrounding space would be detected here immediately.
Today happened to be Violet's shift, and she was sitting in the main seat of the surveillance room, yawning repeatedly.
"Ugh, so boring... Even being toyed with by my naughty master would be more interesting than sitting here doing nothing."
Just as Violet was wondering how much longer she had to endure this, suddenly—
"Alert! Alert!"
"Intruder detected! Intruder detected!"
"Target locked, unidentified model."
"Calculating results: extraterrestrial life form!"
The entire surveillance room was filled with alarms, and one operator after another frantically tapped on keyboards to gather information about the target. Violet, who was in the main seat, stood up with a start.
"Put the projection up!"
"Yes, Lady Violet!"
Following Violet's command, an image was immediately projected on the large screen. A spaceship shaped like a baseball was seen shooting through distant space, then speeding into Earth's atmosphere.
"An alien invader, finally showing up..."
Looking serious, Violet murmured to herself, but her gaze quickly sharpened—
"Lock onto the target, monitor every movement."
"Calculate the target's landing location, and notify the Earth Defense Force to evacuate nearby civilians immediately."
"Yes!"
After swiftly issuing her commands, Violet hurriedly walked to the side elevator, preparing to report the situation to her master.
Meanwhile, above the temple—
"Ahh, such a peaceful life..."
Yuujin, Goku, and Chi-Chi were all lying by the pool, basking in the sunlight, while Tights and Launch, also in swimsuits, lounged beside Yuujin, feeding him fruit.
Yuujin claimed that this laid-back lifestyle wasn't their own choice; it was Bulma's specific request.
According to Bulma's latest research, there are two main methods to increase the S-cells in Saiyan bodies: intense emotions like anger or a peaceful state of mind.
The former could lead to an explosive increase in S-cells in a short time, but as emotions stabilize, those S-cells gradually revert to normal cells. However, maintaining a peaceful state could lead to a sustained, effective increase in S-cells within their bodies.
When Bulma shared her findings with Yuujin, even he couldn't help but chuckle.
If Bulma was right, transforming into the legendary Super Saiyan wasn't about relentless training and combat—it was about relaxing and leading a comfortable life every day!
Are you kidding me?!
While it felt amusing, Yuujin naturally wouldn't doubt the research Bulma and the others worked hard to achieve. This meant that for him and Goku to transform into Super Saiyans, it might truly require a continuous buildup of S-cells in a calm state, which would then be triggered by intense emotions at a certain point, enabling the transformation.
Most pure-blood Saiyans are known for their short tempers and love for battle, making it harder to maintain a calm state than it would be to kill them.
It's no wonder that while the Super Saiyan legend has existed, no Saiyan has succeeded in transforming into one over the centuries. They'd been going about it all wrong!
Previously, Yuujin would feel a bit guilty every time he indulged in relaxation, wondering if he was wasting time while powerful enemies awaited. But now, he no longer felt even a tinge of guilt—after all, he was only doing this to become a Super Saiyan sooner.
He wasn't falling for himself; he was falling for all of humanity!
After eating another grape Tights fed him, Yuujin's heart felt pleasantly satisfied.
Just then, Violet, wrapped in a fierce aura, flew over from the distant sky and landed, marching toward Yuujin.
"What's the matter, Violet?"
Yuujin frowned as he asked.
"Master, a satellite detected an extraterrestrial life form invading Earth."
Violet saluted and reported to Yuujin, then opened her mobile terminal to project the images captured by the satellite.
"An extraterrestrial life form?"
"An invasion of Earth?!"
Tights and Launch were shocked, while Goku and Chi-Chi immediately came over.
"A Saiyan."
Seeing the spaceship hurtling into Earth in the projection, Yuujin spoke calmly.
Although he had long anticipated this day, it was surprising that it had indeed arrived...
"A Saiyan?"
"Yuujin, what's going on?"
The women around him, well aware of Yuujin and Goku's Saiyan identities, looked at him in bewilderment.
"That type of spaceship is the most commonly used single-man transport ship by Saiyans. Unless I'm mistaken, the person in that ship is also a surviving Saiyan, just like Goku and me."
"Uh-huh! Goku and I used to have two of those ships, and you can just zoom right into space by sitting in them!"
Yuujin explained briefly, and Goku hopped around, gesturing excitedly.
Though Goku had long since reached adulthood and was now both Yuujin's wife and the "Goddess" of Earth, she remained just as innocent and lively as ever, like a child who never grows up.
"Since it's one of your Saiyan kin, Yuujin and Goku, I suppose there's no need to worry. I thought we were truly under attack," Tights sighed in relief, patting her chest, but Yuujin shook his head—
"Tights, don't you remember what I told you before? Even among Saiyans, Goku and I are special."
"Saiyans are mostly aggressive, ruthless, and war-loving. They continually search for suitable planets, wipe out their native inhabitants, and sell the planets for a high price to other advanced civilizations—they're essentially a bunch of destroyers and pirates."
"Then... does that mean...?"
Hearing Yuujin's words, Tights and Launch turned pale.
"Don't worry. As long as I'm here, I won't let anyone hurt you—not even our own Saiyan kin!"
Yuujin offered them a reassuring smile, calming Tights and Launch.
Yes, both Yuujin and Goku were unique. With them here, Earth would not fall to any invader or destroyer.
"Violet, gather Mai, Hasky, and all the Red Silk Girls immediately."
"Tights, get in touch with King Kaiselukin and inform him that the war is about to begin."
Yuujin said, giving orders, and the women nodded.
"And what about you, Yuujin?" Tights asked, as Yuujin flashed a strange smile.
"As for me, I'll take Goku, and we'll go meet this visiting Saiyan invader—another survivor like us!"
