"Hahaha, cheers!"
"Whoa!!"
A group of people were having a wild, drunken celebration in an underground bar in West City.
This underground bar was different from regular bars—frequented mainly by those mingling in the shadows of society. Tough-looking bald men and people with colorful, dyed hair were a common sight here.
However, unlike the others around her, a very beautiful woman was sitting at the bar counter.
Dressed in tight clothing, her explosive figure radiated a potent allure. Her striking blonde hair and beautiful face made her a rare beauty, even among women.
For most women, places like this underground bar were usually very dangerous, especially for someone as beautiful and wild as her. Predators lurked everywhere, waiting to make her their prey.
But strangely, while she sat alone at the bar, sipping her drink, not a single man dared to approach her.
Or rather, it wasn't that no one wanted to, but that no one dared.
Clack!
At that moment, the double doors of the bar suddenly swung open, and a young man walked in.
He looked around seventeen or eighteen, very young, with a handsome face and a calm demeanor. A slight, gentle smile lingered on his face, provoking jealousy among the rough men in the bar.
For people in the underworld, the friendlier someone looked, the more dangerous they often were. Not knowing the young man's true nature, no one was foolish enough to mess with him.
Yet, while no one intended to bother the young man, he didn't seem content to remain silent—
"Two vodkas, please."
Sitting on a barstool, the young man ordered.
There was nothing unusual about this in itself—anyone coming to a bar would naturally order a drink. But the surprising part was that he sat down next to the woman!
The once loud and bustling bar instantly fell silent. Everyone turned their gaze towards the young man, their expressions tinged with curiosity, sympathy, and even ridicule.
They knew it—there was going to be a good show!
The bar owner, a middle-aged man, was also taken aback by the sudden appearance of the young man. Glancing at the woman next to him, who was still leisurely sipping her drink as if she hadn't noticed, he nodded.
"Please wait a moment."
Vodka, a straightforward drink, didn't require any special preparation. The bar owner quickly poured two glasses and set them before the young man. After thanking him, the young man took a sip.
Apparently not very fond of alcohol, he quickly set down his glass and picked up the other one, offering it to the woman beside him—
"Beautiful lady, would you care for a drink?"
Everyone in the bar held their breath, a mix of anxiety and excitement filling the air. Who was this kid? Where did he come from, to be bold enough to approach that woman?
"Are you trying to pick me up?"
With a teasing gleam in her eyes, the woman looked at the young man, who seemed unaware of her identity as he struck up a conversation.
"If that's how you see it, I don't mind."
Shrugging, the young man replied.
The lazy demeanor faded from her face, replaced by a glint of danger. She squinted, as though trying to see through him. But the young man remained calm, seemingly unfazed.
A tense atmosphere filled the bar, some people even swallowing nervously.
Was this kid really daring to flirt with that woman? He'd probably end up dead, right?
But unexpectedly—
"Hehehe…"
With a charming smile, the dangerous aura around her dissipated. She took the young man's drink and downed it in one gulp.
Everyone let out a long sigh of relief, but jealousy flared in the hearts of the men.
Could it be that she actually liked that brash kid?
"Just a pretty boy, huh? Damn, so that's her type!"
Ignoring the envious stares around them, the woman set down her glass and gently stroked the young man's handsome face.
"Tell me, little brother, what's your name?"
"If you play your cards right, maybe big sis will reward you."
She leaned in, blowing a warm breath into his ear, her seductive allure igniting the men around them, muttering about her seductive ways.
But the young man simply smiled.
"Since Miss Hao Siqi wants to know my name, I'll introduce myself."
"My name is Yuujin. I'm the president of Dragon Ball Corporation."
"I've heard from Bulma and Tights that Miss Hao Siqi frequently visits our company and has taken a lot of things that don't belong to her. So, I came today to meet with Miss Hao Siqi and perhaps discuss some compensation."
Taking another sip of vodka, Yuujin spoke. Hao Siqi's expression froze at his words, her smile fading.
"Ha…haha… so it's Yuujin, is it?"
She let out a dry laugh, her gaze turning cold as she picked up her glass and threw it at Yuujin.
Crash!!!
Yuujin sidestepped, avoiding the attack, while the glass shattered on the floor.
"Miss Hao Siqi, I just want to resolve this peacefully. As long as you compensate us for our losses, I won't make things difficult for you. But there's no need for this."
Sighing, Yuujin stood up, regret written across his face.
"Heh, make me compensate you?"
"Once I take something, I never give it back!"
"If you want compensation, then let's see if you've got what it takes!"
With a cold sneer, Hao Siqi didn't waste words, launching a punch at Yuujin.
As the queen of thieves, Hao Siqi wasn't a delicate, pampered lady. Her strikes were vicious, aiming straight for Yuujin's vital points, even smashing the barstool they had been sitting on moments before with a single kick.
Just moments ago, they had been drinking and flirting. Now, in an instant, it had turned into a heated fight, and the people in the bar finally snapped out of their daze, bursting with excitement.
"Whoa!!"
"Hao Siqi! Hao Siqi!!!"
"Get him! Get him!!!"
They cheered, thrilled to see Yuujin, who had made them jealous, now being attacked by Hao Siqi. Some even started taking bets on how long the pretty boy could last against her…
