Riding on the Dark Nimbus and Flying Nimbus, Yuujin and the women, including Bulma, returned to Turtle Hermit Island.
However, to their surprise, the Turtle Hermit and his group were nowhere to be seen, and even the small Turtle Hermit House had disappeared.
After some thought, Yuujin quickly understood—the Turtle Hermit and his companions must have relocated.
Yamcha had come with Yuujin's recommendation to train under the Turtle Hermit. Yamcha indeed had a natural talent for martial arts, and with the introduction, it was unlikely that the Turtle Hermit would refuse him.
Since the Turtle Hermit needed a better place to train Yamcha in martial arts, Turtle Hermit Island was not suitable. Most likely, they had moved to the large island where the Turtle Hermit had previously trained Yuujin and Goku.
As expected, when Yuujin and the women flew to the large island they had once stayed on, they quickly spotted the Turtle Hermit House set up along the coast.
The Turtle Hermit and his group weren't there, but they did spot Oolong, the pudgy little pig, lying on a lounge chair reading a magazine, with the sea turtle sunbathing nearby on the beach.
"Sea Turtle, we're back!"
"Oh, it's Goku and Yuujin! Welcome back."
Seeing that Yuujin and Goku had returned, the sea turtle was overjoyed.
"Sea Turtle, where is Master Roshi?"
Landing while holding Bulma and Tights, Yuujin asked.
"Master Roshi recently took on two new disciples. They're out training now, but they should be back soon."
"Master Roshi took on two new disciples?"
"One is a young man named Yamcha, the one you recommended, and the other is a small monk named Krillin."
Upon hearing Sea Turtle's response, Yuujin had a sudden realization.
So, that little bald-headed Krillin had come, too!
"Oolong, looks like you're living the good life here."
Yuujin chuckled as he looked at Oolong.
"Mind your own business."
Oolong, still holding a grudge from past pranks, gave them a look that said he didn't want to talk to them.
Though he was annoyed at first about being stuck on the island, Oolong had grown accustomed to it after a couple of days. He enjoyed the laid-back lifestyle and occasional chats about women's undergarments with the Turtle Hermit and Son Gohan.
"Oolong, what are you reading? Let me see!"
Bulma snatched the magazine from Oolong's hands, making him flare up instantly.
"That's my magazine! Give it back! Give it back!"
"What?! You're reading this kind of magazine? You pervy pig!"
After seeing the contents, Bulma's face turned red, and she punched Oolong hard on the head.
"Ow! Ow!"
Oolong clutched his head, tears almost streaming down his face.
"Darn Bulma! What's it to you if I read my magazine?"
"Give it back! Give it back!" Oolong screamed, while Bulma, unfazed, only laughed.
Just then, sensing something, Yuujin turned to see several figures running towards them along the coast.
"Run, jump, run, jump, la-la-la…"
"Run, jump, run, jump, la-la-la…"
As they chanted familiar slogans, each wore a thick turtle shell on their back.
Leading them was Master Roshi, followed by Son Gohan and the Ox King. Behind them were two others: the desert bandit Yamcha and a short, bald monk, Krillin.
Master Roshi, Son Gohan, and the Ox King looked relaxed, but Yamcha and Krillin were panting, utterly exhausted.
"Master Roshi, Brother Gohan, Brother Ox King!"
"Oh, it's Yuujin and Goku!"
"Dad!"
"Chi Chi!" The delighted Chi Chi ran to hug her father, the Ox King.
"Weren't you off searching for other Dragon Balls? How come you're back so soon?" Master Roshi asked, wiping the sweat from his forehead.
"All the Dragon Balls are gathered, so we came back to rest for a couple of days," Yuujin said with a smile.
"Go, Yamcha! Keep it up!" cheered Puar as the exhausted Yamcha and Krillin finally reached the finish line, collapsing on the ground, gasping for air.
"Yamcha mentioned that he met you and Goku in the desert and that you encouraged him to find me for martial arts training?"
"Yes, I saw his potential. It'd be a waste for him to stay a bandit, so I directed him to you for martial arts training."
"He's not quite at the level of you and Goku, but he's doing quite well, managing to keep up with my training," Master Roshi said, stroking his beard thoughtfully. Yuujin and Goku were unusually talented, while Yamcha's effort was more typical for a human.
"Is he also your new disciple?" Yuujin pointed at Krillin, curious.
"That's Krillin. He claims to be a Shaolin monk and wants to train with me in martial arts."
"He seems capable enough, so I took him on as well," Master Roshi said, looking serious, while Yuujin chuckled internally.
Krillin, even as a kid, had been quite a trickster. Just like in the Dragon Ball manga, he probably used some risqué magazines to bribe Master Roshi.
"Lord Yuujin!" After catching his breath, Yamcha nervously greeted Yuujin.
Having witnessed Yuujin's incredible power, and learning from Master Roshi that Yuujin had defeated the mighty Kami and even became the current Kami of Earth, Yamcha was in awe of him.
"No need to be nervous. From now on, we're fellow disciples."
"Train hard under Master Roshi, and you'll also become stronger."
Feeling encouraged, Yamcha nodded firmly. "Yes, I will train with all my strength!"
"Hmph, no matter how hard you train, you'll never match our Yuujin," Bulma teased, clinging proudly to Yuujin's arm.
It was then that Yamcha noticed the two beautiful women beside Yuujin, his face turning red with terror as he stumbled and fell over.
"What's wrong with that guy?" Bulma grumbled, annoyed.
"Don't mind him, Bulma. Yamcha has a fear of women. He gets nervous around pretty girls," Yuujin explained.
"Pfft, that's all?" Bulma relaxed a bit but still glanced at Yamcha with mild disdain.
"Heh, Lord Yuujin! I'm Krillin, also Master Roshi's disciple. I look forward to learning from you."
The short, bald-headed Krillin appeared beside Yuujin, beaming hopefully.
"Same to you, Junior Disciple Krillin," Yuujin replied, smiling.
