"Hey, little girl."
The Black Nimbus descended, and Yuujin raised his hand to greet the young girl.
"Are you here to catch me too? Stay back!"
Seeing Yuujin and the others, the girl showed a frightened expression, and with a press of her hands to her forehead, a beam of light shot out from her helmet towards them.
Bulma and Tights were startled, but Yuujin calmly held them both and slightly tilted his head to dodge the attack.
"Why are you attacking Yuujin and Bulma, you bad person?!"
Seeing the attack on Yuujin, Goku on the Golden Nimbus became angry and lifted her Ruyi Staff, ready to strike the girl.
"Goku, stop! She's not a bad person."
If Goku actually swung down, her head would probably crack open, so Yuujin quickly stopped her.
Though Goku didn't understand why Yuujin said she wasn't a bad person, she never questioned Yuujin's orders. Upon hearing him, she immediately stopped.
"Little girl, we're not here to catch you. Don't attack us again, or Goku might smash your pretty little head, and you'll end up crying."
Jumping down from the Black Nimbus, Yuujin knocked gently on her head.
"You… you're not here to catch me?"
"Of course not. Your name is Chi-Chi, right?"
"Yes, my name is Chi-Chi. How did you know?"
Surprised that he knew her name, Chi-Chi looked at Yuujin in astonishment.
"With such a cute face, who else could you be but Chi-Chi?"
Patting her adorable helmet, Yuujin said with a grin.
Bulma and Tights, sitting on the Black Nimbus, cringed. Did Yuujin really have to tease her like that? Surprisingly, Chi-Chi seemed to take him seriously.
"C-cute?"
"Oh… this is embarrassing. Aside from my dad, no boy has ever called me cute."
Covering her face, Chi-Chi looked both shy and happy.
Yuujin couldn't help but laugh to himself, realizing she was indeed a naive girl.
"If Chi-Chi weren't so simple, Goku from the original story, who only cared about training, might never have found a wife. He'd probably be a lifelong bachelor."
"My name is Yuujin. These are Bulma, Tights, and Goku."
"Chi-Chi, where are you headed?"
After introducing everyone, Yuujin asked.
"My dad wants to put out the flames on Fire Mountain, so he sent me to find Master Roshi and borrow the Banana Fan."
Chi-Chi answered truthfully.
"You're looking for the Banana Fan? Then you don't need to look for Master Roshi."
"Goku and I are his disciples, and this is the Banana Fan. We were heading to Frypan Mountain too. Come back with us, and we'll help you put out the flames."
Showing her the Banana Fan from his back, Yuujin said.
"You're Master Roshi's disciples? And that's the Banana Fan?"
"Wow… that's wonderful!"
"Thank you, Yuujin! You're such a good person!"
Chi-Chi looked overjoyed at finding Master Roshi's disciples and the Banana Fan so quickly.
Yuujin felt a little speechless at being called a "good person," but he shrugged it off.
"Chi-Chi, you can ride with Goku on the Golden Nimbus, and we'll take you back to Frypan Mountain."
"Goku, take Chi-Chi with you."
"Okay."
Following Yuujin's instructions, Goku lowered her Golden Nimbus.
"Is this fluffy thing for riding? That's amazing!"
Chi-Chi admired the soft, cloud-like texture and tried to climb on. But being small, her short arms and legs made it hard to get up. Seeing Goku's tail swaying, Chi-Chi grabbed onto it.
"Ahhh!"
"M-my tail! Don't grab my tail!"
Goku shrieked, sounding like she was on edge.
A Saiyan's tail is a weak point, and if grabbed, they lose strength. Thanks to Yuujin's training from a young age, Goku had overcome this weakness, but his tail was still very sensitive, and she never let anyone but Yuujin touch it.
"Why do you have a tail? That's strange."
"It's just a tail; don't be stingy."
Climbing onto the Golden Nimbus, Chi-Chi replied.
"You're the stingy one, you meanie."
"You're the meanie! Bleh!"
Seeing the two make faces at each other like little rivals, Yuujin couldn't help but shake his head and laugh.
"Alright, Goku, let's get moving."
"Alright."
Without delay, Yuujin and Goku soared into the sky on the Black and Golden Nimbus, with a startled Chi-Chi grabbing onto Goku's clothes.
"S-so fast! This Golden Nimbus is amazing!"
"Hehe, mine is the best!"
"W-wait, Yuujin, how do you know that girl named Chi-Chi?"
Flying beside Yuujin on the Black Nimbus, Bulma asked.
"Chi-Chi's dad, Ox-King, is also a disciple of Master Roshi, so I know her."
Yuujin replied vaguely, and Bulma nodded in understanding.
What Yuujin didn't mention was that he'd never actually met Ox-King or his daughter; he recognized Chi-Chi only because he was a reincarnator. But he had no intention of telling anyone about that and would keep it a secret forever.
Riding the Black and Golden Nimbus, the group of five quickly reached the skies above Fire Mountain.
The entire mountain was ablaze with raging flames, and at its center, a large castle could be vaguely seen.
According to Chi-Chi, that was her family's castle, filled with treasures collected by her father, Ox-King, and the sixth Dragon Ball was also located within it.
"There… my dad's there!"
"Dad! Dad! I'm back!"
Spotting a large figure snoozing by a rock below, Chi-Chi excitedly called out.
Looking down where Chi-Chi pointed, Yuujin saw the legendary Ox-King, who was technically his senior martial brother.
Just as rumors described, Ox-King was a hefty giant with a scruffy beard and a large face, wearing a horned helmet, looking intimidating and unapproachable.
Intrigued, Yuujin and Goku guided the Black and Golden Nimbus to descend.
"Hmm…"
"Chi-Chi, is that you calling me?"
Yawning, Ox-King awoke, smacking his lips and glancing over at Yuujin and his companions...
