Chapter 98 -  The Fool and the Genius

Over the next few days, Yuujin, Goku, and the others stayed at Bulma's home, and Bulma and Tights also took a break from work.

Even though the company had many critical matters that needed attention daily, it had now grown enough to operate without them.

According to Yuujin, the company's purpose was to gather financial, material, and human resources to serve him, not to be a burden that limited his life and freedom with his women. If it did, it would defeat the purpose.

Though a bit speechless, Bulma and the others were moved by Yuujin's attitude of prioritizing them over the company. After some simple arrangements, they started spending all their time with him, dining, playing, and enjoying life like they used to.

Of course, Yuujin didn't just indulge in fun and flirting with the girls. He used the opportunity to teach Bulma and the others some self-defense skills.

With their hundreds of combat points, they quickly picked up the moves. No longer did they scream for half a day over a somersault or struggle with moves that were once beyond them—strength truly has its perks.

Learning martial arts becomes quite simple with power already in place. Gaining power through martial arts practice, however, requires grit and perseverance.

Though the latter builds a stronger foundation with better future potential, Bulma and the others had gained their powers in a "cheat" manner. Yuujin never expected them to become unbeatable warriors. As long as they could control their current power well enough for self-defense, it was enough.

On this day, in Bulma's indoor garden—

"I'm flying! I'm really flying!"

"Ha ha ha… oops!"

Bulma laughed joyfully as she wobbled in the air but quickly fell from the excitement.

"Bulma, you're such a klutz. You still haven't mastered [Sky Dancing Technique] after all this time."

Goku and Chi-Chi helped Bulma up, with Goku chiding her.

"Me… a klutz?"

Bulma's eye twitched. She almost burst out laughing in disbelief.

How could Goku, this silly girl, call her, a certified genius, a klutz?!

But when it came to martial arts, Goku really was a genius among geniuses, and she, the genius Miss Bulma, seemed like a fool in comparison—a truth that filled her with unspoken frustration.

"Are you okay, Bulma?"

"Next time, don't lose focus in mid-air. Keep control over your ki."

Yuujin, who was instructing Tights, and Mai, also walked over and said to Bulma.

"Fine, fine. So you think I'm a klutz too, Yuujin?"

"Of course not. Our Bulma is the universe's unmatched genius beauty. The [Sky Dancing Technique] is an advanced skill, and you've already made great progress in only a few tries."

"Really?"

"Absolutely."

"Ha ha! See, there's no way I could be a klutz!"

Seeing Bulma's delighted, sunny expression, Goku seemed about to say something, but Chi-Chi quickly covered her mouth, while Yuujin barely held back a smile.

The [Sky Dancing Technique] teaches practitioners how to harness ki to defy Earth's gravity and fly freely. As long as one has enough ki, it's actually quite easy—many people can pick it up just by watching once.

But Yuujin wasn't about to burst Bulma's bubble by telling her the "brutal" truth, unlike Goku, who'd blurted it out.

"Master, Miss Goku, Miss Chi-Chi, everyone, the snacks are ready!"

At that moment, the voice of Princess Serpent sounded, announcing the spread she and her maids had prepared on the nearby lawn.

"Good training, everyone. Let's take a break."

Clapping his hands, Yuujin led everyone to sit down for tea, with the maids serving them and Princess Serpent attending to Yuujin personally.

Though Bulma found Princess Serpent somewhat annoying, she had to admit the snacks were excellent.

After all the guidance from Yuujin, Goku, and Chi-Chi, Bulma and the others had finally gained a passable grasp on their powers and learned many practical self-defense techniques. With their hundred-plus combat points, they could now count as genuine expert heroines on Earth—tough enough that even firearms could no longer easily harm them, granting them a measure of self-defense.

"Bulma, Tights, we've been here a few days. I was thinking of visiting Master Roshi and the others. Want to join?"

As if reminded of something, Yuujin asked.

"No way, Yuujin! You're not leaving us behind!"

"Yeah, we're going too! It's been a while since we've seen Master Roshi. Our last visit was during the World Martial Arts Tournament."

"The World Martial Arts Tournament?"

Hearing something intriguing, Yuujin looked at Tights.

"The World Martial Arts Tournament is a famous martial arts competition with over a hundred years of history. Held every five years on a small southern island, the tournament draws fighters from around the world, with great rewards for the champion."

"It was just a few months ago—the 21st Tournament, where MasterRoshi and Grandpa Gohan took Krillin and Yamcha to participate."

"After rounds of competition, Yamcha won second place, Krillin made the semifinals, and the champion was a contestant named Jackie Chun."

Tights explained, and a faint smile appeared on Yuujin's face.

The World Martial Arts Tournament was well-known in the original Dragon Ball series, with many storylines unfolding there. If he recalled correctly, the champion "Jackie Chun" was probably Master Roshi in disguise!

While Yuujin was somewhat interested in the tournament, that was as far as it went. With his current power, competing would feel like bullying—pointless.

But, as the mention of the tournament sparked an idea, Yuujin began planning something interesting...
