Chapter 70 - The Crafty Chi-Chi

"Waaaahhhh!!!!!"

In front of Kame House, Yuujin, Bulma, Tights, Master Roshi, Gohan, Oolong, and the Ox King sat in a row, enjoying shaved ice. Meanwhile, on the beach in front of them, Goku, Chi-Chi, Yamcha, and Krillin were fiercely sparring.

Several days had passed since Yuujin and the others had arrived. Every day, under Master Roshi's guidance, Yamcha and Krillin went through grueling training—Chi-Chi joined in too. Besides Master Roshi, Gohan, and the Ox King, Yuujin occasionally gave them pointers, and Goku often sparred with them, just like now.

Yamcha, Chi-Chi, and Krillin attacked Goku together. Despite their numerical advantage, the gap in strength was like a chasm; Goku easily handled them even when facing all three simultaneously.

Yamcha was the oldest and strongest, skillfully unleashing his signature Wolf Fang Fist. Chi-Chi was slightly behind him, while Krillin struggled the most. Despite his weaknesses, Krillin wasn't entirely helpless—he managed to keep up with Master Roshi's brutal training, proving he was no ordinary person. However, the little bald one often came up with sneaky ideas, using Yamcha and Chi-Chi as cover while attempting sneak attacks from behind.

As expected, his sneak attacks were as harmless as tickles to Goku. She tilted her head with amusement, then playfully knocked Krillin's bald head with a light tap. She was mindful not to use too much force to avoid hurting him, but it was still more than Krillin could handle. He yelped in pain and quickly bowed out.

"Krillin!!!"

Seeing Krillin get taken out so easily, Yamcha grew anxious and sped up his attacks, hoping to take down Goku.

But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't land a single blow. With a bright smile, Goku darted forward and punched Yamcha square in the stomach.

"Ugh!!!"

Despite her small fist, it carried immense power, leaving Yamcha doubled over with eyes bulging and spit flying out.

"As expected of Lady Goku," he muttered, clutching his stomach as he staggered back, finally collapsing to the ground.

"Lord Yamcha! Lord Yamcha!" Puar cried out in alarm, hurrying over to check on Yamcha's condition, leaving Chi-Chi as the last one standing against Goku.

"Darn it, Goku, take this!"

Frustrated by her unsuccessful attacks, Chi-Chi pointed a finger at her forehead, activating her cute helmet. Beams shot out toward Goku.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The beach erupted with explosions, dust flying everywhere.

"Hahaha…my turn!"

Dodging the beams, Goku laughed, then shot a powerful finger beam of her own, which collided mid-air with Chi-Chi's.

Chi-Chi's beam was reliant on her helmet. Although it was decent in power, it was no match for Goku's finger beam. Chi-Chi's beam was overpowered and began pushing back toward her. Just in time, she dived to the side, narrowly escaping Goku's attack.

"You can't beat me, Chi-Chi. Just admit defeat already." Goku laughed, hands behind her head, smiling brightly.

After enduring countless tough training sessions with Yuujin, she had become strong enough to end the fight whenever she wanted.

"I'm not giving up! Hmph!" Chi-Chi stuck out her tongue playfully, refusing to back down.

Realizing she couldn't beat Goku directly, Chi-Chi quickly devised another plan. Her eyes sparkled mischievously.

"Goku, look behind you!"

"My…behind?" Goku looked back, puzzled.

Taking advantage of Goku's distraction, Chi-Chi's eyes gleamed slyly. She pulled out her fan and swung it powerfully.

"Banana Palm Fan!!!"

"Ahhhhh…"

A whirlwind whipped up, sending Goku spiraling into the sky, disappearing from sight within seconds.

"Hehe, I won!" Chi-Chi grinned, wiping her nose and flashing a victory sign to the others.

"Hahaha…"

"Chi-Chi won! Chi-Chi won!" The Ox King laughed heartily, while Yuujin and the others were left speechless.

Chi-Chi, that crafty little girl!

The whirlwind from the fan had flung Goku far away, but it wasn't long before Goku returned, cloaked in an aura.

"Chi-Chi, you tricked me! There was nothing behind me!" Goku pouted, annoyed.

"Well, there wasn't, silly Goku. You're just too gullible!" Chi-Chi teased, crossing her arms proudly.

"That didn't count! Let's go again!" Goku protested.

"Hmph! You only get one chance. This time, I won fair and square."

"You're too sneaky, Chi-Chi!"

"I told you, Goku, you're just too gullible!"

Watching their bickering, Yuujin sighed, shaking his head. He walked over and lightly knocked on both their heads.

"Alright, no more arguing. Chi-Chi won this time."

"Goku, though you're stronger than Chi-Chi, you tend to let your guard down. Remember to learn from this," Yuujin advised.

"I understand, Yuujin," Goku nodded, lowering her head apologetically.

"And Chi-Chi, even though you won this time with the fan, relying on it is not the answer. Keep working on your true strength," Yuujin said gently, not wanting her to grow dependent on external tools.

"Yes, I'll work hard!" Chi-Chi replied obediently. To her Yuujin was more akin to a father figure than a brother.

(T/N: Let's see MF if I will let you lay your lecherous hands on Chi Chi WAHAHAHA. Ahem-)

"Alright, you've both done well. Go wash off all that sweat," Yuujin chuckled, relaxing his tone.

"Yes! Goku, let's go take a bath!"

"Yay!"

With joyful smiles, Chi-Chi and Goku skipped into the house, ready to wash up.

"Ah, I'm feeling a bit hungry," Bulma stretched, standing up.

"Sis, let's go prepare lunch," Tights said.

"Sure, but I think we're almost out of seasonings."

"Yuujin, could you go pick up some seasonings for us?" Tights asked, turning to him.

"Seasonings? Leave it to me."

To be continued…

(T/N: In the upcoming chapters, I have removed the poison, the unnecessary collection of the girls for harem, plus weird romantic, lovey-dovey scenes for the sake of readers because it is a dragon ball fic, not a rom-com)

Also, guys, check out the fiction titled A Saiyan's Journey Begins From A Dream posted by my alternate personality. It's far better written than this one; you can have my word for it.
