Boom!!!
The iron doors of the lab were blown apart, and Android 16, Android 17, and Android 18 walked out together.
"Earlier, we forgot to ask the doctor where that Kami, Yuujin, might be. Where should we go to find him?"
"Well, let's take our time searching. After all, we have all the time in the world. Let's treat it as a 'find the person' game."
Android 18 spoke with a hint of annoyance, while Android 17 appeared entirely indifferent.
Being androids with infinite energy and eternal life, patience and time were the least of their concerns.
However, Android 16 suddenly stopped in his tracks, raising his head to gaze at the sky—
"The shrine. Kami Yuujin is above his shrine."
"There are many powerful energy signatures there, and they're monitoring us."
With a deep gaze, Android 16 spoke.
"Impressive, Android 16. Your detection radar can even do that?"
"Android 16, you really are a stiff and boring guy who doesn't know how to have fun."
Android 18 marveled, while Android 17 sighed and smacked his forehead.
He had been looking forward to a proper game of hide-and-seek, but thanks to Android 16, the boss's location was revealed instantly. How could he have any fun now?
"Well, whatever. Since we know, let's just head to the shrine. After taking out that guy, we can tour the world and do something interesting."
With a sigh, Android 17 finally made his decision.
"The shrine, huh? I've never been there before. I'm kind of looking forward to it."
"What's there to look forward to? It's just the residence of that lecherous Kami and his harem. Watch me destroy it later."
"Android 16, let's go!"
With some back-and-forth chatter, Android 16, Android 17, and Android 18 took to the skies, turning into three streams of light heading toward the shrine.
Meanwhile, in the shrine's monitoring room—
"Did you hear that? Those androids are coming to destroy your place, you lecherous Kami!"
Vegeta's voice was full of glee as he crossed his arms, clearly enjoying himself.
Watching the three androids flying toward the shrine on the surveillance screen, Yuujin couldn't help but feel a bit speechless.
Android 17, that guy, sure knows how to run his mouth. I'll have to teach him a lesson later.
"Snake Princess, take a team to seize Dr. Gero's lab. I want all his research data."
"Goku, Vegeta, Celipa, you're coming with me to the training grounds to welcome our guests."
"Yes!"
The speed of Android 16, Android 17, and Android 18 was astonishing. Within minutes, they had flown from Dr. Gero's lab to the high-altitude shrine.
"So, that's the shrine? Impressive!"
From afar, the shrine appeared like a fortress in the sky. Even Android 18 couldn't help but feel awe, her eyes sparkling with amazement.
Compared to its original size, the shrine was now hundreds of times larger.
It was adorned with skyscrapers, palaces, and pavilions, as well as forests, waterfalls, seas of flowers, and gardens. It was a paradise of earthly beauty, revered as the supreme holy ground and the abode of the deity, admired by countless people on Earth.
"Hey, Android 17, how about we live here after we take out that Yuujin guy?"
"It'd be a shame to destroy such an incredible place."
"Tch, do whatever you want."
Android 18 proposed excitedly, and Android 17 scoffed in response.
Though he acted indifferent, even Android 17 couldn't help but feel secretly astonished.
That Yuujin sure knows how to live!
"Be careful."
At that moment, Android 16 suddenly spoke.
From the shrine ahead, countless cannon barrels emerged, unleashing a barrage of artillery toward them.
"So, they even prepared a welcoming ceremony for us!"
With a smirk, Android 17 began weaving through the air, dodging the incoming fire alongside the others.
The barrage grew more intense, but eventually, the trio stopped bothering to dodge.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
Explosions lit up the sky, and a massive shockwave rippled outward.
Yet, when the smoke cleared, the three androids remained unscathed.
"Android 16, I didn't think your body was this sturdy."
Both Android 17 and Android 18 were a bit surprised. They had used protective shields to block the artillery, but Android 16 had let the explosions hit him directly.
Though the radar showed Android 16's power was below theirs, this guy seemed far from ordinary.
Silent as ever, Android 16 didn't respond. His eyes remained fixed ahead, where dozens of warriors in red battle dresses emerged from the shrine, blocking their path.
"What's this? We're just here to kill Yuujin. Why are these women showing up?"
Still irked from the artillery attack, Android 17 complained.
"They are the Red Silk Girls, loyal to Yuujin."
"Don't underestimate them; their power is extremely dangerous."
Android 16's radar indicated these warriors were formidable.
"So, they're the legendary Red Silk Girls. Beautiful and strong indeed."
With a glimmer in her eyes, Android 18 brushed her hair but added internally: Not as beautiful as me, though.
"Androids, our master has been expecting you."
"Follow us," said the leader of the battlemaidens, her expression cold.
"Oh, so they're not here to stop us. What a pity."
Android 17 was a bit disappointed. If they had tried to interfere, he would've had an excuse to take them down.
Whatever. They'd meet Yuujin soon, and after finishing him off, he could think about other matters.
Without further ado, Android 16, Android 17, and Android 18 followed the battlemaidens into the shrine, landing in a training ground.
Yuujin, Goku, Vegeta, and Celipa were already waiting. Seeing the androids descend, their eyes gleamed with anticipation.
Finally, the androids had arrived!
Though Yuujin had long known about them, seeing them in person stirred complex feelings.
Android 16 was a tall, burly man in a green armored coat, quiet and reserved. Though he looked human, he was entirely mechanical.
Android 17 and Android 18 were twin siblings—Android 17 the younger brother, Android 18 the elder sister.
Perhaps due to their exceptional genes, they had been chosen as the templates for Gero's experiments. Handsome and stylish, their appearances were striking.
Among them, however, Yuujin's attention was most captivated by Android 18.
He had been waiting for her arrival for a long time.
