Chapter 145 - Princess Vegeta

With a loud thud, the heavily wounded Raditz crashed to the ground.

"No, impossible… I actually lost… I lost…"

In a daze, Raditz seemed unable to accept the reality before him.

He was a true Saiyan warrior, yet he lost to his own sister, and to Kakarot, whose combat potential was pitifully low!

There had to be some mistake. This couldn't be happening!!!

"Defeated by the sister you considered worthless—how does it feel, Raditz?"

"The 'worthless' sibling you thought so little of has long since surpassed you. Your entire race is already gone, and yet you still prance around, boasting about being from the strongest warrior race. You're so weak you can't even see the gap between yourself and others."

"Raditz, you're pathetic."

Standing in front of Raditz alongside Goku, Yuujin looked down on him with endless disdain on his face.

"Ahhh!!!"

Raditz coughed up blood as a hint of fear finally showed in his eyes.

But there was still a deeper feeling—hatred!

Raditz knew he was done for this time, and very badly so. In the brief clash just now, his bones and organs had been shattered by Goku's attacks. Even with the Saiyan's resilience, he wouldn't survive.

"Heh heh… heh heh heh…"

"Kakarot, I admit, I underestimated you…"

"But don't get too cocky. I may die here, but the other two Saiyans will come to avenge me. Their power is far beyond mine."

"Just… just wait. You can wait here for destruction to come, shivering in fear with this planet. I'll be waiting for you in hell!"

Raditz's face twisted with a vicious grin, knowing his end was near.

"Then go on and wait in hell," Yuujin said coldly. "Goku, finish him off."

"Okay."

At Yuujin's command, Goku extended a finger and launched a piercing beam that tore through Raditz's head.

He had come to Earth only to take his sister to help him, but Raditz never imagined he'd die here, on such an insignificant planet, at the hands of his own sister.

But time doesn't turn back, and there's no such thing as "what if."

His face frozen in resentment and unwillingness, Raditz breathed his last…

"Goku, are you okay?"

Yuujin gently patted her forehead, asking her.

Raditz's death wasn't worth mourning, but Yuujin still wondered if it was too harsh to have Goku personally kill her own brother.

But Goku simply shook her head.

"No, I'm fine."

"That annoying guy is finally dead. Hee hee."

With her usual innocent smile, Goku was still the same as always, which put Yuujin at ease.

Most Saiyans are cold-hearted and indifferent, caring little about anything or anyone, including family and friends. It's a trait that seems ingrained in their genes.

Though Goku's personality was innocent due to Yuujin's upbringing and influence, her coldness as a pure-blooded Saiyan couldn't be completely erased. Other than Yuujin and Bulma, whom she considered family, Goku was never particularly warm to others.

Like now—she felt nothing after killing her brother Raditz. There was no guilt, no remorse.

Killing someone like that annoying guy was the right thing to do!

"Come."

Yuujin took the scouter from Raditz's forehead and then called out.

"Yes, Master."

Two warrior maidens clad in fiery red dresses appeared, kneeling down before their master, awaiting orders.

"Take Raditz's body back to the sanctuary and deliver it to the lab for study."

"Yes."

Without any questions, the two warrior maidens lifted Raditz's body and shot into the sky with a surge of energy.

As one of the last remaining Saiyans, Raditz's body might yield something interesting in the lab. Yuujin was only thinking of it as a way to make use of waste.

Although if Raditz knew about this, he'd probably come back to life just to fight Yuujin again.

"Yuujin, why are you fiddling with that annoying guy's scouter?" Goku asked curiously, watching Yuujin play around with Raditz's old device.

Scouters were already common on Earth, and after Bulma's improvements, they had far more functions than Raditz's outdated model.

These scouters could detect combat power, as well as communicate, collect information, and even give warnings, making them very convenient. Every warrior maiden under Yuujin had one.

For Yuujin and Goku, however, these scouters weren't of much use.

"Found it."

Without answering immediately, Yuujin pressed a button on the scouter.

After some static, a cold female voice came through the scouter—

"You killed Raditz?"

"Yes, he's dead," Yuujin replied, a faint hint of nostalgia surfacing as he smirked.

"Then you're prepared."

The woman's voice became even colder.

"Yes, I'm ready."

"We'll be waiting for you here on Earth…"

"Princess Vegeta!"

Yuujin revealed the identity of the speaker, but a click sounded on the other end, signaling that the call had been cut off.

Yuujin shrugged, a playful smile on his face.

That princess was just as arrogant as ever.

"Yuujin, Yuujin, who's that person named Vegeta? Someone you know?"

Goku blinked her big eyes, asking curiously.

"Ah, she's an old acquaintance from Planet Vegeta."

"The last of the royal family—the Princess of the Saiyans."

"Unlike weaklings like us, she's a noble blooded genius, born with immense power."

Yuujin explained, though Goku still looked a little puzzled.

Well, she got the gist—the princess was pretty strong.

"But even if the princess is a genius, she can't be stronger than us now."

"We'll stay here on Earth, waiting for her to walk right into our hands."

"Are we going to capture Princess Vegeta?"

"We'll see. If she insists on becoming our enemy, then we'll destroy her."

"Mm-hmm, even if she is Princess Vegeta, I won't let her hurt you, Yuujin!"

Talking as they rose into the sky, Yuujin and Goku's energy ignited, and they shot upwards.

Meanwhile, on the far side of the galaxy—

"Nappa, let's go."

Wearing a battle dress and sporting a long ponytail, a woman stood up from a rock.

"Your Highness, we're about to conquer this planet. Can't we wait just a bit longer?"

Nappa, a bald giant holding an alien by the neck, asked.

Around him were thousands upon thousands of corpses.

"I said, we're leaving. Or should I repeat myself?"

Looking down at him, the woman radiated an icy, oppressive energy.

The very air seemed to grow heavier, suffocating those around her.

"Yes, Your Highness."

Nappa dropped the body in his hand, lowered his head in submission to his queen…
