"You're leaving the Mirror World now?" Vonn heard a voice as he returned out of nowhere to the same underground earthen room as before. He leaned back against the wall, his posture relaxed.
He smiled faintly and nodded. "Yeah."
"Seems like you've failed. You didn't become a legend, Vonn."
"I know."
A heavy silence settled over the room. The voice did not respond immediately, leaving Vonn alone with his thoughts. The stillness forced him into unwelcome self-reflection, something he despised. Clicking his tongue in frustration, he crossed his arms and tapped his fingers impatiently against his elbow.
"Didn't I already warn you? Why didn't you listen?" The entity's tone carried a sharp edge of frustration, but Vonn remained unfazed, his expression calm and indifferent.
He tilted his head slightly, as if trying to meet the gaze of the unseen entity. A sardonic smile tugged at the corner of his lips.
