Chapter 1 - The Deman

Chapter 1:

Night 1

In a country, in a city, in an alley, in a rented room, the lights shining on the curtains of the window due to the busy cars going back and forth at night, the rustling sounds of leaves due to the autumn wind, the sound of the car engine gradually getting closer and then going away and disappearing, the sounds of people walking back and forth stepping on the puddles of water left after the rain, in that room there was a young man lying on his bed, the sound of the clock ticking as if teasing the young man's efforts to fall asleep, the young man kept nagging and nagging, the thing beside him was not just the ticking of the clock, the sound of cars, the sound of wind, the sound of leaves or the sound of people walking outside, besides, beside the young man right now there was something, something, something that none of us thought we would want to see. while he was still trying to sleep, countless questions popped into his head: "What is that thing?", "Does it looking at me thing?", "why... does it-"

more and more questions popped up in his head, making it blind with questions, he wanted but also didn't want to have to open his eyes to meet that thing, but there was something that always urged him to open his eyes, as if it was something familiar to his brain but on the other hand his brain also warned of its danger. suddenly something touched his leg from inside the blanket, the touch was cold but also... so familiar?... no no definitely not. the boy quickly dismissed his speculation to now have to face every possible situation.the touch quickly moved from his feet to his knees and straight to his stomach, he became more and more anxious, it became harder to resist the urge to open the covers and identify what was currently inside the blanket with him, the touch gradually moved up to his chest, as he became more and more desperate, the touch suddenly stopped at his chest, on one hand he breathed a sigh of relief that it had stopped but on the other hand he still felt anxious because that creature was currently next to his body, a few minutes passed but it seemed like an eternity to him, suddenly the cold touches from earlier suddenly wrapped their arms around his shoulders and hugged him, he felt something...like hair?...maybe a head? touching his chest, it withdrew into his chest as if searching for a touch. But that didn't make him less alert, but rather more and more uneasy and worried. Suddenly that thing started to make strange, incomprehensible sounds, but they weren't just random sounds, it was like a moan, you could immediately see that it was full of disappointment, sadness, even restlessness, even though you couldn't understand, couldn't see, couldn't hear clearly, but somehow, with some kind of connection, you could feel those emotions...why did you feel that way?....you brushed the question aside, focusing on finding out what the thing below you was, but you couldn't risk flipping the moon up right now, you were scared, scared that thing could harm you, but there was another part that made you not want to do so...avoid?...why was it evading?...the questions kept popping up in your head, so in the end...what was this thing? he desperately wanted to find the answer but didn't want to risk himself, he just lay there, time passed, seemingly endless until the rays of dawn shone through the dim curtains and directly into his eyes, his eyes opened heavily, only then did he have the courage to push the moon away... nothing... just him in the quiet room, dyed in the dim yellow of the dawn.
