"These Pokémon basically have all kinds of attributes," Violet said with a hint of pride.
"Milotic, Altaria, Lucario, Larvesta, Shinx, and an Alolan Vulpix," she added, releasing them one by one.
Evan couldn't help but be stunned when she saw the Pokémon lineup. "Goodness… Lucario, Larvesta, Alolan Vulpix? These are rare Pokémon! Even Milotic is a treasure. Only Altaria, the so-called 'dragon traitor,' is somewhat common here."
China was renowned as the land of dragons, home to numerous Dragon-type Pokémon. But the rarity of some species made Evan marvel at the effort it must have taken to gather them. Clearly, Violet had spent a fortune.
Violet just released all the Pokémon from her second-tier team. Evan admired the impressive array of Pokémon in front of her, marveling at their strength and potential.
Violet noticed Evan's reaction and began to explain. "Lucario was originally part of my main team, but due to some circumstances, I moved it to my second-tier lineup. Milotic and Altaria are newer catches. I want you to help train all of them."
She gestured towards Larvesta, Shinx, and Alolan Vulpix. "These three need to be raised to their final evolutionary forms. As for Milotic and Altaria, I'd like you to help strengthen them further. Their current strength is Peak level, while Lucario is at a quasi-Elite level. My goal is for them to reach Elite status under your guidance."
Violet's gaze was steady. "Of course, how far you improve them is up to you. What do you think?"
Evan mulled it over before asking, "So, you're saying the payment is fixed, regardless of the results?"
Violet nodded. "That's right."
"Got it," Evan said. "This shouldn't be too difficult. Larvesta will need to reach the Quasi-elite peak level to evolve into Volcarona, so we'll be aiming for quasi-Elite. The others will follow a similar path."
Satisfied, Evan accepted the commission. Violet's lips curled into a faint smile. "I'll leave it in your capable hands. My competition season ends next year, so during that time, these Pokémon are under your care. Listen to Evan, alright?" she instructed her Pokémon.
The six Pokémon nodded earnestly. They understood Violet's demanding schedule and resolved to train hard in her absence, hoping to someday shine on the battlefield alongside her.
Evan, noting their determination, stepped forward with a contract. "One more thing: energy cubes. Should I customize them based on their attributes, or do you have specific preferences?"
Violet replied, "Customize them as needed. I trust your expertise."
Evan smiled. "Understood." It was clear that not only the training but also the Pokémon's nutrition would be meticulously handled. With everything settled, the journey to elevate these Pokémon to new heights had begun.
When Violet said this, her gaze toward Evan was filled with fiery passion. She knew from experience how effective Evan's energy cubes were for her Pokémon.
Evan nodded thoughtfully and asked, "What kind of energy cubes have your Pokémon been eating so far? Intermediate or advanced ones? Or have they been exclusively fed top-quality energy cubes?"
To properly formulate a plan, Evan needed this information. The better the understanding of their dietary history, the more effective the energy cubes would be for Violet's Pokémon.
Violet answered without hesitation, "My Pokémon only eat Top-grade energy cubes. You can continue with top-quality ones."
Hearing this, Evan couldn't help but feel a twinge of speechlessness. This woman truly has the funds to match her ambitions.
"Alright," Evan said after a moment of thought. "Top quality it is. That's no problem. For Milotic, we'll focus on Water-type energy cubes to enhance its move strength. Altaria, however, is a mix of Dragon and Fairy types, which makes it a bit more complicated. While I do have a formula for Dragon + Fairy energy cubes, it's troublesome to prepare. How about we feed Altaria separate Dragon-type and Fairy-type cubes instead? It'll simplify things."
Evan sighed as she continued, "Besides, I'm guessing you plan to use Altaria for Mega Evolution?"
Violet nodded eagerly, but Evan felt a slight headache just thinking about Altaria's unique typing. "Altaria... after Mega Evolution, it turns into a Dragon and Fairy type. Honestly, calling it a dragon is a stretch. It's like Volcanion being both Water and Fire—a complete contradiction rolled into one. Fairy-types are strong against Dragons. It's almost unfair to itself!" Evan shook her head, still baffled by Altaria's typing.
Hearing Evan's musings, Violet chimed in, "So you're saying the Dragon + Fairy energy cube is difficult to make?"
"It's not just difficult," Evan replied, shaking her head. "It requires specific materials and precise timing. The process is overly time-consuming, and the result isn't much different from feeding separate Dragon and Fairy energy cubes. So, it's honestly unnecessary."
Violet thought for a moment before agreeing. "Alright then, Dragon and Fairy mixed cubes will do. And yes, the Fairy aspect is essential. I already have the Mega Stone ready."
She then turned to another matter. "What about Lucario? Does it have an exclusive Cube? If so, make sure to include it. I want my Lucario to grow even stronger. Ideally, I'd like it to reach championship level!"
At this, Evan put her pen down and stared at her client, utterly flabbergasted. "You... you want me to train it to championship level? Why stop there? How about I train it into a Master Level Pokémon while I'm at it? Maybe even have it become the Aura Guardian under Mew itself?"
Evan couldn't resist the jab, shaking her head with an exasperated chuckle. "You have way too much faith in me."
Violet laughed, her confidence unwavering. "If anyone can do it, it's you!"
